Airlie is a secluded destination for meetings, weddings, and romantic getaways in the Northern Virginia countryside. Located in Warrenton, Airlie is just a 50-minute drive from the center of Washington, D.C. yet a world away from the hustle and bustle of the District. The historic manor house and village of guest rooms are set on 300 acres of verdant Virginia landscape featuring pastoral, lake, and wildlife views. Experience Harry's, our new restaurant open daily for dinner and for lunch Friday-Sunday. Ingredients are sourced from our very own farm, a mere 400 yards from Harry's front door. Whether you're here for a relaxing getaway, business, or a noteworthy occasion - we're glad you landed at Airlie.

We stopped into Airlie House for a business meeting and lunch and it was terrific. The Airlie grounds on a warm February day were beautiful with expansive walking gardens, wonderful stone patios and short hike walks. Our buffet lunch was delicious with many tasty entrees,

Are there any little shops or convenience stores within walking (or biking) distance?
There are some grocery stores about 3 miles away, an easy bicycle trip on country roads. Giant Food is the most convenient, as you don't have to deal with any main roads. Check out the route on Google maps.

Does the hotel allow pets?
Not sure they allow pets but I think possibly in certain areas/rooms. I would double check with the hotel.

What building was your room in ?
I have stayed in the Lodge and The Farmers House. The Farmers House common area is more intimate, Bedrooms were very similar, but I preferred the big glass windows in the common area in The Lodge.
