I was very pleasantly surprised on how well the room was maintained, very clean, no smell of previous guests. Having the king room with spa was a great choice and watching / listening to the ocean waves was an added plus. This is definitely a hotel that I would consider staying at again in the near future.
We had the king room with heart-shaped jacuzzi. The room was clean and very well kept up. The staff was VERY helpful at check-in. Check in was quick. Staff is friendly. Would highly recommend to anyone. I have stayed here many years ago and it looks just as good if not better then our stay before. I love sitting in the tub and watching the ocean.
The last hotel on the southern end of the boardwalk. So, you are away from the crowd. Got the ground floor sweet right on the boardwalk, which is a dream for kids. We were few feet from the sandy beach. On the flip side, if you sit outside your room, you are literally on the walkway of everyone, so no privacy. Rooms are clean, thought the furniture could use some updating. Overall, I would go again.
Room was nice, great view. When I had to call maintenance to fix the TV my maintenance guy smelled heavily like marijuana, to the point where I had to spray perfume several times to cover it up, and the guest next door with his sexual activity could be heard, and I had to turn the TV up to keep my kids from hearing it. not cool with children. So not sure I would recommend this as a family setting.
I've stayed here multiple times and will return! Great value, clean and wonderful location! Staff was very friendly and we enjoyed have the kitchenette. Sunnyside Cafe, right down the road, had incredible food!
