I am leaving tomorrow. The front desk was nice. They didnt charge for my cat. They had coffee in the lobby. The room was nice. The heat worked very well. I was comfortable. The con that concerned me is the elevator didnt work. The elevator door kept trying to close and that scared me so I got out fast. I am glad that I was on the second floor. The elevator needs to be fixed. ChiChos pizza is next door! The best pizza in the area. They also have a variety of food. Good hotel!
Everything was fine we were able to check in when we arrived and got settled in our room. We left to go to dinner and came back around 8pm for the night. Around midnight my sister woke up to use the bathroom and I as well to roll over to get a drink of my water. That’s when I seen out the corner of my eye a bed bug on my pillow. I jumped up and we immediately called down to the front desk. The lady working said she would be up as soon as she could. That’s when I realized the bed bug had already bitten me twice on my shoulder. So we packed our bags and by the time the lady came to our room 10 minutes later we were ready to go. She offered us another room but when you have bed bugs they travel and are hard to get rid of and I had my niece with us as well. So I kindly declined and she issued me a refund. Plus my shoulder was swelling and who knows if they had gotten on our clothes or in our luggage! What makes it even worse is after this encounter you don’t want to stay at another hotel so we ended up driving home back to Delaware. We booked the hotel so that we would be able to see our sister who was there for the weekend from Tennessee. Needless to say we didn’t get to see her because we ended up driving home. Also my shoulder is still swollen and I also got bitten on my hand. I’m not sure if you have ever been bitten but it is not a nice feeling. My shoulder and hand itch constantly and are very warm to touch. It doesn’t make it any better that the bites on my shoulder are where my bra straps are which makes it even more uncomfortable! Overall this stay was not what I expected at all and am very disappointed. I will also be doing a review on the page, contacting Wyndham because I am a Wyndham Owner, as well as doing a review on the Wyndham Owner website as well. In the meantime I hope that you can get this matter resolved quickly because it is something that spreads quickly and is not easy to get rid of. I would not want someone else to have to deal with or have the same experience as me! …
This is our 2nd stay with your hotel. I have my pros and cons about our stay. First the pros I was impressed by the remodeling and renovation of the hotel. The lobby was inviting and very spacious. The staff was very nice when we checked in. So kudos to the staff. Now the cons, I know as a hotel that there's nothing you can do about the Covid 19 virus and we all have to wear our masks but at least you can do for future guests is to make some type of prepackaged breakfast for your guests. With the price we pay we should have that for our stay but its okay. Hopefully in the future. The stay in our room was very small knowing it was handicap room not enough room to bring our luggage into to maneuver around. Bathroom was HUGE The beds were okay. Pillows were a plus ➕:). Now comes the biggest con which my wife got hurt and fell in the shower. There was no rubber mat in the shower and by what the front desk staff Tonya told me was it was automatically put in as a coating with the construction of the tub. Tonya went above and beyond to credit us a nights stay for the accident, also brought up some bath mats to put in the shower to help prevent future falls. Hopefully we won't be charged for the shower curtain because that's all my wife had to hold onto when she fell. Other than that and to factor in the breakfast and remodeling for the hotel. We will be back to stay with you again because you don't charge for any pet's. …
We were very pleased with this hotel. Our expectations for a hotel in a beach town were that the property would not be top-shelf. This Hotel blew away our expectations. I highly recommend it, particularly if you are travelling with a pet.
We only spent one night here but it was a very nice and the staff especially the check in were awesome we checked in really late and were treated great! We would stay here again. Even though it wasn’t ocean front the lady that checked us in gave us a room on top floor so we would have an ocean view.
