Mask and 6' distancing is a must. And we liked this very much. Clean hotel inside and outside. Plenty of safe parking. Our room was exceptionally clean. Windows, mirrors, tv, shower/tub, sinks, microwave and carpets. Attention to detail is foremost in housekeeping. Courteous and professional staff. We will be back!
We got the hotel for my birthday and Christmas just to get away. Everything was great from the very personable staff, cleanliness, and the appearance. The views were amazing. Very relaxing weekend. It was really the staff that made the stay perfect.
Traveling in the midst of a pandemic is scary but we felt safe here. Very clean and they were sure to check if we needed anything else cleaned during our stay. Limited capacity so we did not run into many people in the elevator and hallways...very grateful for that. Safe, socially distant hot breakfast prepared by the staff. Friendly and accommodating staff. And of course a prime location right on the beach. Got a great Cyber Monday deal so didn't have to break the bank. All in all felt very comfortable being there in such a time of uncertainty.
We were pleased with our choice of staying at the Comfort Inn & Suites. The staff was attentive and super friendly. COVID meant some amenities were restricted, like no hot tub or fitness center, and no seating in the breakfast area. But they did offer breakfast and have coffee/tea available all day. The hotel was quiet--all you could hear in our tenth floor room was the sound of the ocean. Our room cleanliness could have been better. The living area floor was dirty all over, which doesn't inspire confidence during a pandemic. The sofa was stained, and when I tried turning over the cushions, that side looked worse. The cleanliness issues, though, would not prevent me from staying here again. Aside from that it seems to be a well-run hotel.
I came for a visit with my sister for one week. The hotel is clean but I wish if staying 7 days they would at least come in once to clean the room. I understand not wanting to because of Covid but we would have made sure we where out at the time. My main concern was the staff not wearing masks. Most did and the staff behind the plexiglass at the front desk not always wearing one was not a huge concern, it was just the ones I would see getting out of the elevator I was about to enter and the odd ones doing their jobs that I would see in the hallways not wearing their masks concerned me. I understand you can’t enforce the hotel guests to wear one but if it is a mandate then the staff should all wear them. Saying that, the majority did but for this reason I would not stay here again. The staff were nice and friendly, the breakfast was decent and bagged up with a good choice. The hotel is at an excellent location too. I also wish hotels would start converting to pump dispenser shampoo and other toiletries as the amount of plastic waste is huge. …
