Cannot say enough good things about the Chesapeake Inn staff and accommodations. The room I stayed in was clean and cozy. I felt comfortable and at home as if I was staying with a family member or close friend. The staff went so far out of their way to accommodate my group's needs. I would stay here again in a...

Great place. Easy to get to from Highway 17. Very accommodating. The room was very clean and comfortable. All of the rooms have a unique decor. I will seek to stay here on future business trips. Locally owned restaurants within walking distance.

Rather than return to Richmond and the hotel we stayed in the previous evening, we walked into The Chesapeake Inn and asked for a room for that and the following evening. No problem with space and the room (mini suite) was great. The Manager could not have been nicer and we would stay there again in a heart beat. The...

This is such a sweet place that my husband and I discovered on our 2nd trip to Urbanna. It is a hidden gem tucked away in the heart of town. We met Angela and immediately made plans to return the next night to stay The rooms were lovely,.We sat around the fountain and played music and met other guests and...

The Chesapeake Inn is the place to stay in Urbanna. Right in the middle ot town but back off the street and very quiet. A well done renovation of the old Urbanna Inn, the rooms are attractively furnished and very comfortable. Our room, the Map Room, had a wonderful king bed, bathroom separated with privacy area, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker but...

This place is truly a hidden gem! From the time you cross the bridge and see the beautiful marina, to the friendly staff at this Inn, to the stunning accommodations, this was simply a lovely place to visit! The Works Restaurant had the best drinks and seafood around! We stayed in the Abby room and loved the beautiful accommodations, to...

This motel used to be named the Urbanna Inn, but it has new ownership and is totally renovated. And it is very nicely appointed with beautiful furnishings, friendly service and quiet, as it is "tucked in behind" the other businesses in the area. We just had a very nice quiet retreat for 3 nights, and could not have asked for...

In support of a destination wedding at the Hewick plantation, we (bride’s parents) used the Chesapeake Inn as the “home away from home” for family (of both bride and groom) and the bridal party. We booked 12 of the 13 rooms for the entire weekend, and rented the banquet room for a buffet brunch and hospitality room on Saturday before...

This is a small inn in a very small town in rural VA. Our room was ready when we arrived. It was spotlessly clean and huge. King bed, full size fridge, coffee pot, cookies, and Andes mints. We had a delightful 3 day stay and will certainly book again if we're in the area.

My husband and I have been three times in less than a year. We have stayed in three different rooms and loved all of them. Each room beautifully decorated, it is like home away from home. Restaurants and shops all right there, you never have to leave the little town of Urbanna if you don't want to. We have explored...
