This hotel is in dire need of improvements! The floor squeaks, the heater barely works and there is only one channel on the tv. The carpet in the room has huge stains and the mattress is horrible. Had we not been on the road for hours and it not have been so late, we would have stayed somewhere else. I do not recommend staying here!!!!! As you cross from the parking area to the front door, beware of the hidden step down curb. There are no warning signs posted and my husband fell.
Nice low key hotel. A bit dated, but clean and well managed. Friendly and helpful front desk staff. Room was average, but clean. Would have liked a large chair to watch TV rather than a little table and kitchen chairs. Restaurant was terribly off when we were there. Over an hour wait for our food. Waitstaff was thoughtful. When we got the food it was good. Would stay again.
We had a square hole in the ceiling above the shower head. Don't know if it was there due to repairs but it was not a comfortable feeling and could not take a shower. Had to move to a different room and that room had dried blood on the top sheet.
alot of noise... breakfast was good. no coffee in room, had a pot but no coffee. the attached restraunt had good food, but pricy and small portions,. ordered 3 entrees for 2 people, they had chips and salsa and did not leave full... town shuts down on sundays so not alot choices.
My husband & I stayed there on Oct 18 to go on Sykland Drive & was very disappointed. We requested a handicapped room & did not get one , had to move to one after we checked in , the room did not have a box of tissues, a pen , a bible, trash cans, etc . The breakfast was horrible! Biscuits was so hard you could not eat them, no bacon or sausage, I definitely will not be staying there again !
Comfortable stay in convenient location at good price with hot breakfast included. Everything went smoothly and efficiently. Good option for anyone wanting to stay near north entrance of Shenandoah np
Love this hotel and the owners. Over the most recent last couple of years a new family has purchased the hotel and have been doing phenomenal remodeling it. We love it here. We rent two rooms and they accommodate side by side. Our family only chooses this hotel as we truly feel at home here. Cleaning crew is always so polite and caring. Staff will go out of their way to make sure to exceed your expectations. The breakfast room is amazing. Every morning is Belgian waffles...they are scrumptious. And then you have sausages, bacons,.biscuits, breads, muffins, etc. Boiled eggs/scrambled eggs, cereals with milks, juices, grits, oatmeals, yogurts, etc... They definitely aim to please, you wont go hungry. Love it here. very high quality stay with low budget cost! Can't wait to come back next year !!!! Our whole family loves you all! They even allowed tailgate grilling we had a blast. The kids love it here. The new Mexican restaurant is amazing and highly recommend…
We had not been to a Ramada in decades and didn’t realize Wyndham assumed their ownership. Pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness of the room and how roomy it was. Bed was like sleeping on a cloud! They actually had a hot breakfast available even though their cold offerings weren’t that broad. Great 81/66 location too and with a Mexican restaurant right next to them. They have reserved parking space for US veterans which you don’t see often either.
This is a lovely place to stay with a beautiful view of the mountains. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located, clean and near to the highway. There is a grocery nearby, making it a very convenient option for family travel.
Traveled to Strasburg for a wrestling show. Convenient location. Clean room. Only gripes I had were about the shower pressure & the breakfast options available - but otherwise it worked for what was needed.
