Before we make reservations we always check reviews on tripadvisor. In the case of this facility we were mislead by the many positive comments about the breakfast. There were a variety of items but they just were poor quality. The cheese omelette - a flat pancake around a small amount of American cheese was rubbery and cold. The "fresh fruit...

We were in town for a funeral. The front desk woman was a lovely welcoming presence when we arrived late Friday night, tired from our long drive. There was ample parking accessible luggage carts, and we were happy to find free Wi-Fi with a strong and steady signal. Our top floor suite #402, was spotless and warm and the bed...

Clean room, breakfast included, friendly Hannah on desk duty when we arrived made us feel that we were in the right place. There is an Italian restaurant next door and they offer a 10% discount to guests of this hotel. We also got a break on the cost of the room with our AAA card. I had a swim in...

This was my first booking through Trip Advisor. The pricing was better than what I could have gotten on the Marriott site. Apparently this is a popular place in the fall due to its proximity to Skyline Drive, which we enjoyed this afternoon. It is also close to restaurants & necessity shopping. The rooms are clean & quiet, the staff...

Stayed 2 nights here while attending the Cedar Creek Battle Re-enactment. Conveniently located to many of the Civil War sites in the Shenandoah Valley. 3 adults stayed in the 2-queen bed suite. Nice large space with a separated sitting area which contained a sleeper sofa, desk, tv, coffee maker, fridge and microwave. Beautiful view of the sunrise over the mountains...

You've got here a standard Fairfield Inn (from rooms, breakfast, etc.) that happens to have a phenomenal view of the mountains and the valley, particularly around sunrise. Do whatever you have to do for a room along the edge (end of the hallway) to get a chance to sit on the balcony and watch this amazing sight. The lady at...

Stayed for one night. Staff extremely friendly, rooms clean and breakfast with good selection included with room. The mini market in hotel had a great selection of small bottles of wine. Many were local wines that were a real treat. The location is great for fall foliage. Definitely recommend.

Gates our original plans were flooded out in Norfolk, we went to the Shenandoah Valley. The hotel was very warm and welcoming. We are gold elite so we asked for an upgrade and we got the suite with a balcony. We couldn't sit on the balcony due to stink bugs all over the place. The room was very nice. There...

As a Marriott Silver Elite customer, I was disappointed at this hotel. It was certainly not the lowest price accommodations in the area when I booked, and I (foolishly) thought that I would be able to get an upgrade to a higher level room. When I checked in, I found out that the hotel was completely sold out, so there...

What I like most about this hotel is that its very quiet. Its along I-81, but set back a bit. There is no road noise! While there is the town of Strasburg down the road, the area near the hotel only has a few fast food places, and an Italian place that you can walk from the hotel. The staff...
