Amazing that such a rural compound, with a peaceful pond and rural views, is so close to DC. The separate buildings scattered around the grounds provide privacy and a feeling you are in your own country place. The food is amazing -- dinner prepared by a truly skilled chef and a perfect country breakfast. The hosts are charming and friendly,...

Stayed over Labor Day weekend. Grounds are beautiful, accommodations great and food was fantastic! Owners and staff were very friendly and genuine. Location was great to visit Winchester - pleasant surprise being so close to Valerie Hill Winery which turned out to be a great find too on our trip. Hubby and I plan to return to Vaucluse again.

The entire Inn was the venue for a gathering of friends, from as far as Australia, Hong Kong, Europe, Tokyo, men and women all eager to catch up and talk. Breakfast chats until close to noon in the comfortable and lovely dining rooms, delicious breakfasts, and a wonderful pool. Tiffany and Dereck were obliging, charming, and their sense of hospitality...

We got a gift certificate for a two night stay at this Inn for our wedding - but as it is with a young family, we never really found the time to go. When the voucher was about to expire (after one year, although VA law states it has to be five years), we called and the Inn keeper Barry...

Multi-building B&B with the main structure built in the 18th century. Run by a charming and friendly couple from Hawaii who have "caught on" to the essence of Southern hospitality big time. We had a lovely room with a view of a pond and next door to the pool. A common area included a refrigerator stocked with water and soft...

I was so thankful to be able to book this Inn last minute during Labor Day weekend, as my husband and I had originally planned to head to OBX, but cancelled due to Hurricane Hermine. Tiffany and Derrick were so kind and accommodating, and really took the time to make sure we were taken care of. The three course breakfast...

This property is amazing--with lots of room options, beautiful scenery, and an inspired chef. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and helpful with absolutely anything we needed--the use of the kitchen fridge for bottles of wine, a supply of water for hot day hiking, and tons of information about things to do. It's a very romantic place, but we also met...

I am trying to find more excuses to...

Our visit to Vaucluse Spring was wonderful as always. The new owners Tiffany and Derrick were very friendly, gracious and helpful. Looking forward to future visits. Relaxing by the pool after visits to local wineries was fun. Breakfasts were also very good.
