My husband and I decided to stay at the Frederick House for our anniversary. This was our second time staying in a B&B. It is my understanding that you typically pay more for a B&B, but usually the ammenities, quality of the room and the overall experience make it well worth the extra expense. Unfortunately that was not the case...

We loved our room, very spacious yet still cozy. Staff was very nice to deal with. The breakfast was good but tasted 'mass-prepared' unlike a B&B we stayed in the previous night. Staunton is a beautiful city with lots to do and see. No complaints about the room other than missing some historic feel (decorations) that would go nice with...

We usually stay at the cheapest hotel but we stayed here in their lowest priced room for only 103 dollars. Location was very convenient as it was in the middle of town and it was nice to be able to explore the town and just walk back to the hotel. The breakfast was great compared to the usual hotel breakfast...

My husband and I stayed at the Frederick House for five nights while looking for an apartment in Staunton. The room was plenty big and comfortable for our long stay, and the owners, Karen and Denny, were incredibly helpful. Denny even drove us to the rental car office when they couldn't pick us up in time for one of our...

The Frederick House was beautiful and romantic. The towels were plush, the aroom was peaceful and bautifully furnished and was spotlessly cleaned. Hosts Denny and Karen were both helpful and gracious and accomodating to our every comfort and need. Their hot breakfasts were elegantly delectable. Guests are given several breakfast choices, for example: ham and cheese pie, baked french toast,...

Thank you for the years I enjoyed your accommodations while my daughter attended Mary Balwin College. You superb location, attentiveness, and comfortable amentities perfectly suited my wishes and needs each stay with you. Now that she has graduated, my daughter and I plan on occasional day-trips to continue enjoying both Staunton and Frederick house. Bravo. W. Moyer, a Maryland resident

My wife and I went to the Frederick House for our anniversary over the Memorial Day weekend. We've been to Staunton numerous times before and had stayed at the Frederick House about 8 years ago (under previous owners). The hotel, more aptly a bed and breakfast, is in five historic buildings set within very easy walking distance the main street...

Beautifully appointed, antique filled suites and rooms. Delicious breakfast. Within walking distance of a wide array of restaurants and entertainment. Right across the street from Mary Baldwin College.

My husband and I just returned from a fabulous long weekend in the Shenandoah Valley and Frederick House presented us with an outstanding jumping off point from which to explore. Our room was beautifully furnished, extremely comfortable, and perfectly situated within the town. The owners of Frederick House were warm and hospitable, and they should be commended for running an...

My boyfriend and I were in Staunton for a wedding over the weekend and decided to partake in the B&B experience rather than settle for our usual Hilton family hotel. While Frederick House's location is ideal (just steps away from Staunton's main shopping street), my satisfaction with our experience ended there. As soon as we were shown to our room...

As caring Innkeepers that love to be able to send our guests off talking about what a wonderful time they have had, it is truly concerting to see that one of our guests left not happy with their experience. The hardest thing to do at this point is correct that experience after the fact. We truly believed that you wanted...
