Much better than a motel! Walking up the steps to the B&B felt like coming home every evening. David, the innkeeper, is welcoming & interested in his guests, as well as being an excellent cook. There are a lot of stairs to climb, but the surroundings and atmosphere make it well worth the climb!

Stayed for two nights, had the best time - breakfasts were great, decent parking nearby, very clean and nice room and bathroom. The owner was super nice and made us feel very welcome. Wish we had explored more of the surrounding area!

This is a historical, enchanting B&B within walking distance of historic downtown Staunton. We stayed in a third-floor room, which have private baths. (Second-floor rooms share a hallway bath.) Our room was clean, comfortable and very spacious. David offers helpful suggestions on what to do/see/where to eat and the breakfasts were phenomenal!

We stayed two nights and loved it! Easy walk to historic downtown Staunton. We had a lovely, comfortable room on the third floor. David was out of down but Kat was there to take care of us. The breakfasts were excellent! I had a mishap and had to visit the ER - Kat was kind enough to take us there... More

We stayed in The Olde Staunton Inn for three nights; we were in Staunton principally to go to the American Shakespeare Company production of 'The Importance of being Ernest' but really enjoyed wandering around the town - good food, art shops and antique shops. The property is beautiful and very well kept. Our room was a good size and the... More

What a beautiful home! My husband and I stayed for one night as we were traveling to North Carolina and wanted to take a break. The only room available was with a shared bath- which we were not looking forward to; however, it was not a problem and the bathroom was very, very clean and lovely. David, the owner, Innkeeper... My wife and I stayed here for a 3 nights, and absolutely loved it! The owner kept the rooms and house in excellent condition, and the food he made and served was great in variety and quality. The room was beautiful (William Beverly) and it was the perfect setting and ambiance for a romantic, restful getaway. We both especially loved... More

My boyfriend and I, enjoyed a quant weekend away from our home in the Richmond area. It was a welcoming change from the usual hotel experience. We very much enjoyed the hospitality of the owner David, we also liked the homemade breakfast as well as the company of the other guests. The spread was lovely with an assortment of fresh... More

This period home is beautifully, comfortably furnished and our host was very welcoming and informative. He gave us a great suggestion for dinner as well as historic places to visit. We'd happily return.
