We found Hopkins Ordinary on Trip Advisor when we were looking for places to stop while driving the Skyline Drive near Luray. It's a cute bed and breakfast with a taproom in the basement. They were popular, so we sat outside in the biergarten. My wife had a saison and I a Belgian dubbel. Both were well made and the...

Thank you for finding us. We change the beers regularly, so please come back! We will get a fire pit going in the garden in the cooler months, too.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed a 4 night stay at Hopkins Ordinary in early September. Kevin and Sherri's B&B is located in the center of Sperryville, within walking distance of several eatery options, and less than 15 miles from any number of gorgeous hiking options. The B&B itself is lovely, with tastefully decorated, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and beautiful...

A lovely property with great character, taste, and thoughtfulness to little comforts. The owners have just opened their craft brewery in the house cellar open 4-7 Wednesday's and the weekends. Clientele is a mix of locals and guests and the brews were all quite flavorful and fun. Would return again.

My wife and I spent three nights with Sherri and Kevin at the B&B/Brewery from 9/2 - 9/5. We had such a phenomenal time. The B&B sits on the main strip in Sperryville, and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the covered porch at all hours of the day and watching the town move by. There are a few shops and...

My wife and I are in our early 60's and I have been longing to hike up Old Rag, which I had not done for years (my first Old Rag climb was when I was 6!). We've done some camping, but my wife wanted something more comfortable. We made the wonderful choice of staying at the Hopkins Ordinary, which made...

We really enjoyed our stay at Hopkins Ordinary B&B. Kevin and Sherri were super nice and made a point to know each of their guests names. Their hospitality, to include a flight of beers made by Kevin, was superb. The rooms were big and clean and the breakfast was amazing...french toast with whiskey in the batter, yum! We will definitely...

Thank you for coming and enjoying the beer, breakfast and beds! We do strive to make sure guests are comfortable and that the place is squeaky clean. It was great to see you enjoy the beer in the garden, and we enjoyed meeting you and helping plan your next day. We look forward to the next visit.

We spent 3 nights over the July 4 weekend here and couldn't recommend this place highly enough. For me three things made this the perfect weekend getaway: 1. The Hotel: Sherri and Kevin have done a great job at renovating/restoring this beautiful old home into a fantastic BnB. There was lots to do in the area, but we were content...

We stayed here over July 4th weekend and couldn't have asked for anything better. I have always been weary of B&B's and often stay away from them because I have heard horror stories. However, Hopkins Ordinary far exceeded my expectations. The room was clean and very comfortable. The breakfasts were fantastic and they have delicious cookies in the foyer. Sherri...

I booked a room at the Hopkins Ordinary as a get-out-of-town birthday present for my husband. The hotel was beautiful, the owners very friendly and attentive.
