We booked our stay at The Inn at Mount Vernon Farm for 5 nights with one thing in mind- to get away from it all and totally relax. Boy, did we ever pick the right place ! First, I must say that Deb, the innkeeper was an important part of the puzzle and was more than helpful in planning our...

Staying at the Inn at Mount Vernon Farm that was an excellent experience and provided both quiet and comfort for a weekend away. It was great to have modern amenities and conveniences while being able to see the animals on the nearby farm, visiting the local shops, and talking with the owner and his family about the property and county....

I spent three nights at the Inn at Mount Vernon Farm and was completely charmed by the owner, staff and setting! We wanted a post Washington, Thanksgiving, getaway that was near SNP for short hikes and near the Inn at Little Washington for a once in a life time dining experience. My mom and I recently returned from a wonderfully relaxing three night stay at the Inn at Mount Vernon Farm. We loved staying in the cabin behind the main house and having our own cozy fireplace. One day it rained and we had the best time just sitting by our fire, drinking coffee, reading, and doing crossword puzzles. Heaven! For...

Spent three nights at peak foliage season. Wanted a place nearby Old Rag Mountain and the Park. Spent some time here as a kid eons ago and wanted to show my girlfriend the area. Could not have picked a better place to stay. Tastefully appointed farm house on nearly 1,000 acres of farm and Shenandoah foothills that has been owned...

My wife and I spent two nights over Columbus weekend at Mt. Vernon Farm Inn. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel at home in this lovely Virginia manor house perched above 900 acres in the foothills facing the Blue Ridge mountains, with Old Rag in the distance. We emigrated from England way back in the late...

We just returned from an unforgettable stay at the Inn at Mount Vernon, a small paradise in Sperryville, Va., about 75 miles from Washington, DC. We drove from Florida with our mother, who lived at Mount Vernon from the 1930s-40s, when her father managed the farm. My sister and I grew up in this area. From its hilltop location, the...

Like many of the reviewers, we have stayed at plenty of B&B's across the country. This was one of the finest B&B experience we've had. I say that because the mansion & room were beautiful, the breakfast was amazing, and the owners and staff were terrific. I came there with my wife the day after our wedding, and the plan...

The Inn is beautiful and complements the majestic surroundings. The cabin offers charm and privacy and the breakfasts by Lillian are worth the stay. The location is convenient to the Copper Fox Distillery, the Pen Druid Brewery and the charming town of Washington, VA. We'll be back!
