If I could give 10 stars I surely would as the Rose hill is that good! We stayed at Rose Hill for two nights. We were booked in the Peacock room and it was absolutely beautiful. The house, built in the 1900s has been very lovingly brought back to her days of glory by B&B owner/inn keeper extraordinaire - Wendy...

My husband and I stayed 3 nights for our 30th anniversary. Miss Windy was so gracious and accommodating . We stayed in the Greta Garbo room with a huge bathroom. It was a gorgeous place and we would definitely recommend it. There is also a mascot named Teddy that is so adorable. Very close to every place we went. Very...

I'm so glad I could introduce you to the fun of staying at a B & B. You were wonderful guests and Teddy still sighs when he walks by your room.

The owner was super nice. I liked her humor. The service was great! Delicious breakfast but not much variety. The bed was very, very comfortable. It was in the historic area of Roanoke. The area is trying to build itself up again. I slept in the Greta Garbo room. Nice and clean. Claw tub was nice but hard to get...

Hello to New York, I enjoyed your visit and would really appreciate it if you could let me know what, in your opinion, could transform the three-course, gourmet breakfast I serve. I'm always looking for ideas to turn what a guest thinks is absolutely adequate into spectacular. Thank you for taking the time to write the review.

This B&B is across the street from a park. The house is tastefully decorated with antiques, quilts, and books. The owner cooks a very filling breakfast. Parking is "on street" in front of the B&B. We would definitely stay here again!

If history and the love of vintage accommodations are your things, you've got the sweetest spot here in Roanoke. Built over 100 years ago, the Rose Hill B&B is the pride and joy of innkeeper and owner Wendy Blair. Recently remodeled and renovated, it has all the comforts without losing the charm. Old fashioned hospitality is what makes us fans...

The Rose Hill B&B was the PERFECT place to stay for our 5 day Roanoke vacation! Wendy is the ultimate hostess in every way! Breakfast was an event every morning! Beginning with Wendy's amazing hot from the oven muffins, fresh fruit served with inventive twists, and oh my the breakfast entrées - WOW! Heavenly! The Garbo Room, with an enormous...

Ben Franklin once said, "Guests, like fish, begin to smell after three days." Well I must say he never had the joy of hosting you two. It was a delight to accommodate your Roanoke adventure and I hope that the local sights you missed might coax you back one day. Heck, stay a week!

Lovely 1900s brick home with period decorating that doesn't feel stuffy. Wendy is the best: funny, entertaining, knowledgeable and a great cook. And Teddy, ahh he's just the best little lap dog. Enjoyed the porch, watching families play at the park across the street. Nice neighborhood, not too far from downtown A must stay!

Thank you for taking the time to review the B & B. It was my pleasure to have you in my home and to chat on the porch. Teddy is wondering when you will be back. Soon, we hope.

Rose Hill was wonderful! The 3 course breakfast, charming rooms, great location, and a warm and caring host all far exceeded our expectations. Thank you for the wonderful review. I can hardly wait to find you on my front porch again. Teddy says, "Hi."

Wendy is a excellent host, advertising that we would be pampered and we certainly where. The three course breakfast was varied, heathy, and filling. The house was fascinating and elegantly decorated. Liked to have stayed longer. Wendy was very helpful and recommended an excellent restaurant within walking distance.
