My wife and I stayed in May 2022. We really liked the layout of the room. Nice walk in glass shower. Bathroom area sectioned, office, lounging area sectioned. Bed was comfortable. Carpet had some stains but not dirty. Room appeared clean. We would stay here again.
Hotel Still living in the Covid World with Poor Breakfast and no open restaurant. This was a Poor representation of a Hyatt Property. Many Hotels in the area...Choose wisely. We stayed in Harrisonburg Hyatt and were spoiled. We were expecting much more...Back to Marriott Properties as they always deliver.....
Our one night stay was disappointing. Our room was dated and needed maintenance: some of the electrical outlets were sparking; the bathroom sink stopper was broken and the in room coffeemaker did not work. When I asked for a replacement, none was available. So I went to the breakfast area to get decaf coffee only to find that they didn’t have any. I was told they don’t have it because “there was not much demand for decaf.” My husband and I drink decaf for health reasons. When we had breakfast, there were no eggs left, and there weren’t many other hot cooked choices offered. I contacted the general manager to let him know about our experience at the hotel but never received a return call. Hyatt Place is one of our first choices for a hotel stay as because of the quality of the room and the cooked breakfast. This hotel did not meet our expectations.…
Have been a Hyatt member for 2 years now and have been staying with Hyatt every time I travel. The location was convenient to our travel destination with plenty of restaurants for dining. The stay was great, as well as the staff abd amenties available.
We can't ask for anything more whenever we stay at Hyatt Place in Roanoke VA. The rooms are always clean. The staff provides excellent customer service. Plenty of parking and very close to airport, shopping and restaurants.
Great experience. This hotel is located in a very convenient location with access to a lot of attractions and facilities. The management and staff ensure the property is maintained well and guests are comfortable during their stay.
Good news and bad news. The good news is the shower water can get very hot. The bad news is it gets hot enough to apparently set off a fire alarm. Seriously. Other issues: on my side of the bed there were only two electric outlets: I had to disconnect the lamp to plug in my phone and cpap machine. For breakfast, they served the hot items in these cute cassoulet pans, however the lids were very hot and they didn’t have any pot holders so you burned your hand getting breakfast. Maids only left coffee for one in the room. The breakfast buffet didn’t have decaf coffee. Lots of little things. There are better options.
Spacious, clean rooms. Love the “living room” section. Bathroom updated; spacious shower. Free Breakfast was hot and plentiful. Good variety. Enjoyed the indoor pool. Super location- walking distance to mall. Reasonable price and friendly staff :)
It was fine for one night. They need to put in some queen beds. It was a tight squeeze for us. The king wasn't an option traveling with a child. The sofa bed was dirty. Also not an option since they are never comfy.
I had a business meeting in Roanoke and the conference hotel was booked. So being that I'm a Hyatt member, I picked this overflow hotel. Very glad I did. The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The hotel was quiet (though, that can change in an instant as we all know depending who's around us!) and very well located. It was near the mall, Walmart, Target and a TON of restaurants. I'd definitely stay here again.
