Landing cottage is a must if you enjoy a beautiful setting, spotlessly clean and beautifully presented accommodation. Elaine and Ian are such welcoming hosts and the breakfasts were just delicious, we can't believe we have only just discovered it.

My family and I had a spectacular visit at Landing Cottage. I took my parents and daughter to Landing Cottage for a three night stay and was so glad to have booked our stay there. Elaine welcomed us warmly and had prepared our rooms with perfection. The little touches around the cottage and how ideal the accommodation was for my...

Thank you so much for your wonderful review. Such a shame that you had the car problems and we hope, that despite those problems you enjoyed your trip North. We loved meeting you and hope to see you again sometime.

In summary everything EXCELLENT. There is a frame in the house that says: "May the House to every guest, be a place of peace and rest", and indeed it is true. No one single small proposal for improvement. Everything was perfect and in top of that, the owners Elaine and Ian take care of guests up to the mínimum detail....

5-star quality accommodation in a tranquil / peaceful setting. Absolutely delicious breakfasts. Elaine and Ian were the perfect hosts - giving informative and helpful 'tips' and advise on places to go such as tours, local spots to visit, and so on. They had the perfect balance of when to 'leave you alone' and when to 'pop in and check on...

Easy to stay, location and hosts were ideal. As previously mentioned it is a few minutes (read 4.5 minutes) drive out of the CBD but this enhanced the location (as away from traffic noise). Very hospitable hosts, Used directions and recommendations on where to visit and see. Which was good local knowledge. Clean tidy and relaxing. Would of stayed longer...

So pleased you enjoyed your stay, such a pity we were fully booked and unable to take you for longer. We hope to see you again so you can enjoy all the things the Bay of Islands has to offer.

After having to unexpectedly leave our previous accommodation, we located Landing Cottage with some luck and assistance - and what a find. Ian and Elaine were delightful hosts, treading that fine line of privacy and openness astutely, and when we left it felt like we had known them for ages. The bed was comfortable, the facilities were spacious, all the...

We've just spent another weekend in Kerikeri, and as usual we stayed at Landing Cottage. It's still the best place to stay when in Kerikeri. Hospitality is still great, food is still great, and overall a lovely winter break.

This is the best B & B you will find. We had a spacious bedroom with garden view and our own lounge, with pleasant outdoor seating also. A fridge, and ample tea & coffee making facilities were supplied for our use. The breakfasts were excellent, the supply of towels exceptional, and the cleanliness could not be faulted. Our hosts Elaine...

We are so pleased you enjoyed your time with us, we certainly enjoyed meeting you. Thankyou for the marvellous schnapper that you caught on your days fishing, it was lovely all of us having dinner together. We do hope to see you again one day, when people stay for a week they become friends.

What a wonderful welcome to New Zealand! Ian and Elaine have a great accommodation. Their breakfasts are delicious and beautiful; the rooms are comfortable and lovely; and the best part is their travel advice. We had some general ideas about what we wanted to see and do, and they provided additional information that made it easy to plan our days....

Thankyou for your kind review also for the beautiful bookmark that you left for me. We so enjoyed your time with us, and it was lovely catching up with you as you continued on your trip around NZ. If we are ever lucky enough to come to Canada we will certainly look you up.

We booked at the last minute and arrived late in the afternoon as we were in need of a base as our daughter was having her first baby at the Bay of Islands Hopsital that night. Ian and Elaine were so welcoming and accommodating we wished we could have spent more time with them. The accommodation was first class, comfortable,...

Sorry we couldn't have spent more time with you, babies will insist on being born in anti-social hours. We felt priveliged to share your happiness on baby's safe arrival. We hope you can come again in more normal circumstances.
