Richard's place is a very quaint, three en-suite rooms near the Stone Store - a very special part of New Zealand's European beginnings. Very comfortable accommodations, an excellent breakfast and fantastic conversation with owner Richard. Thee rooms are very private with their own patio with views to the sea and the bush. A great place to be your base in...

My husband and I had an amazing stay at this property. Richard (host) could not do enough for us, he was the perfect host in perfect surroundings. We spoilt ourselves by having a bush bath on the property which was an amazing way to end our trip in the bay of islands. Will definitely stay there again.

We went to visit the stone store in kerikeri which was stunning...to think that was built so long ago and still stands majestic as ever. The store was closed when we arrived...we were late in deciding...but it was still worth it. Looking in the windows at the wears of yester year.... so much history. A quaint little cottage next to...

I can't recommend Stone Store Lodge enough, Richard is the perfect host and his place is one of the best we stayed at on our extensive travels through the North and South Island. The house is great and the location was ideal for us. We were on a golf trip and Richard's Lodge is absolutely perfect for seeing Kauri Cliffs....

Just back from 4 weeks in NZ, Stone Store Loge was our first stopping point. Due to international flights we were into KeriKeri early morning. Richard (our host) was super helpful which an allowed us an early check-in. We got to the lodge using the super shuttle from the airport - we didn't book - you should taxi's are hard...

Enjoyed every minute staying at Stone Store Lodge. Richard is awsome, full of stories, advices and knowledges. Lodge has only three rooms, all spacious with ceilings to floor windows and balcony. Breakfast is cooked by Richard or one of his little helpers! Enjoy bath in a bush. Just don't be suprised if you do not want to leave that little...

Its a beautiful part of NZ but getting quite crowded IMHO. This little B&B allows you to enjoy the best of both worlds with great food next door (see my Wakarepuku restaurant review) and 15 min drive to the bustling Paihia (and Russell ferry) Richard is great, rooms are fine and location in the bush is very pleasant.

We had a really lovely stay here at Stone Store Lodge for two nights. It was very peaceful, spacious room with everything you could need. The breakfast made by our host Richard both mornings was fantastic. We would definitely love to stay here again if we are back up in Kerikeri. Handy to good restaurants and a pleasant walk to...

We are regulars to Kerikeri, but this was our first stay at Stone Store Lodge. I can't rate this B&B high enough! Richard's attention to detail is exceptional. It is a 5 star stay - from the size, layout, extra comforts away from home - down to the level of interaction from the host. We woke to birdsong and a...
