Handy to town. Excellent restaurant next door (Food at Wharepuku) comfortable bed. Good table and lighting if you need to work. Quiet. Friendly hosts. What more do you need. There is a nice walk just over the road through bush that takes you to the stone store.

What a great place to stay. The hosts are amazing, welcoming, thoughtful and really looked after me while I spent a month working in Kerikeri. I stayed in two separate rooms and both were clean, comfortable and serviced daily if needed. All the basics provided so I was able to cook small meals if needed. Loved the rainfall shower in...

This motel is truly great. I would recommend it if you are visiting Kerikeri. It is close to an amazing restaurant next door and only a short walk from the main town to other restaurants. The Motel has a pool and rooms that are spacious and fine for a weeks's stay. Anthea and Alan are great hosts and are there,...

We stayed 2x nights & really enjoyed our stay. Lovely touch with the wine & shortbread on arrival. Very clean unit & a really comfortable bed. Various things such as having the lights & heater on upon our late arrival (the 2nd night) really made for a pleasant & memorable time. We had a spa in our unit & it...

We first went there on our first day in NZ (we're from Canada on vacation). Andrea welcomed us with a glass of wine and OJ, along with some cookies. Place was very clean and well decorated with bug screens. After leaving Kerikeri, we took a long tour of Northland and ended back up in Kerikeri so of course we had...

We found the operators of Colonial Motel very friendly and were given a complimentary wine and cookies on arrival. The gardens are beautiful and with the motel set off the main road it is very quiet. We're also advised of the best restaurants, cafes, etc. which was a great help.

Love staying at this Motel! Always so welcoming and relaxed. The rooms are always very clean and cosy. Located in a beautiful restful spot away from noise with only the birds to hear. Run by an absolutely wonderful couple who take the time to really make sure you are comfortable and set up. HIGHLY recommend!
