The White Swan is a classy hotel which attracts people to the delightful small country town of Greytown. We chose it as a venue for a birthday celebration with 32 guests, partly because we wanted something out of the city. It was perfect for us! We were given a private dining room (no extra charge) and had early access for...

Stopped for snacks and drinks from the bar menu. Nice setting in the middle of town, good seating out front on veranda to watch the world go by Reasonable wine selection and nice bar snacks. Also inside seating and restaurant if the weather not good

Stayed in the George Suite for one night on our way to Wellington. The suite is huge with a separate lounge and really a lot of wasted space and a bit shabby. The bathroom is large but needs updating, mouldy tiles in a very small shower and a small bath. Looks like it hasn't been renovated for at least 10...

This place is on the main street situated to get the sunsets from the front deck. Plenty of parking out the back where they have half a dozen very nice motel style rooms, without the kitchens, at least in the upstairs unit we had. They also have rooms in the main building and a range of restaurant's / corners where...

My wife and I have visited Greytown previously, but only on day trips. This was the first time we stayed here overnight, and The White Swan was perfect for that. It's on Greytown's Main Street, within easy reach of locals cafes and restaurants, and the boutique shops in Greytown. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, but quiet, and we...

What a lovely hotel.. We stayed in the Bombay Suite and our friends stayed in the Mandarin Suite, the rooms are huge in comparision to recent stays. Each are delightfully themed with comfortable beds, a lovely sitting area and generous well appointed bathroom. It was so nice to have a coffee/tea station with generous supplies and real milk in a...

Stayed in a Park Room with a balcony overlooking the park next door. Being able to open the doors and sit outside was awesome. Plenty of space in room, very clean, good kitchenette behind the doors. A bit noisy from the hotel below, however that's likely because it was warm so the windows were open. Good range of food options.

My husband and I stayed in the Ruby room for one night, during October. The weather was cool, which made the heating in the rooms all the more appreciated. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows and beautifully decorated throughout the room. The theme of the room was Ruby, rather exotic, reds, gold and hints of black. Downstairs...

We have been here several times and it's always been good food. Nice sitting out the front in the sun. The fish and chips were delicious as was the home made beef burger. Good wine and beer selection. A good choice for lunch or dinner.

We spent the night in their spacious rooms. Was quite nice at a reasonable price. We also stayed for drinks and dinner. The food was quite good and we had the Wednesday special: 2 dinners for $30. It is right on the main strip with shops and restaurants in close walking distance. Keep in mind many of he shops close...
