We stayed for two nights at the Claremount and thoroughly enjoyed our visit . Owners Frank and Maria were very welcoming and friendly. Our one bedroom apartment was spacious, comfortable, well equipped and clean with a small outside sitting area. Maria organised bicycle hire for us and drove us to the bicycle depot in Martinborough to collect the bikes. We...

We were a bit disappointed after reading the good reviews in here. We paid $885 for 3 nights which is quite high, and had some warm ish weather (30 degrees) which turned the chalets into uncomfortable saunas. There were no fans or air con, and it was hotter inside than out. We were provided with a stand up fan but...

We only stayed one night to do a wine tour but was made most welcome and the accommodation was very good with the bonus of having a little patio of our own. We were lucky enough to be lent a bbq without charge and had a lovely evening eating lamb racks from the local butcher Scotty washed down with local...

I always try to give honest, positive reviews, so the review for this motel is difficult for me to write. But our experience here was so totally at odds with other very complimentary T.A. reviews, most of which I now notice were for the two bedroom cottages on the site. These certainly from the outside resembled the website photos and...

We had a 2 bedroom apartment which was very spacious. It included a large lounge and dining area plus a very well equipped kitchen. Toiletries were provided too. It was very quiet in a peaceful setting and walkable into the quiet town. The new owners were very helpful and friendly.

We were two couples staying in Martinborough. The Claremont is in a lovely setting. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment fitted with every possible amenity. The motel keepers, Maria and Frank, are very friendly and booked a lovely evening dinner for us at the Tarohana Winery as well as a tour and tasting at the Brodie Estate Winery. Altogether...

We came here for Fat Freddy's Drop Concert on the long weekend over Wellington Anniversary Weekend and it was really nice! I wasn't expecting too much because of the price (there was 4 of us in 2 separate apartments and it was $50 each) but I was pleasantly surprised! Cute outdoor decks for summer weather, wish we could have stayed...

We stayed here for one night. The staff were very friendly and helpful and our room was clean, tidy and very comfortable. The outside area is pretty and relaxing. There were some cooking facilities in our room as well as all the usual amenities including good WiFi and a large flat screen TV.
