Stayed three nights in Cologne room. Spacious well appointed room with private terrace overlooking vines next door. Huge comfortable bed, walk in shower, good towels. Tea & coffee facilities, free snacks and bread to toast for breakfast. Easy 15 minute walk to town square, close to several walkable cellar doors as well.

We stayed one night in the small Panama room for $290. The bedroom and bathroom are very small although well appointed. On arrival there was no one at reception although we came at the appointed time. There was no milk provided. We could hear conversation and movement of people in the adjoining unit. For these reasons we were disappointed and...

This place is beautiful! We stayed for one night in Martinborough as part of our honeymoon and wish we had booked for longer. Beautiful room overlooking the vineyards. We were able to sit outside our room in the sun and enjoy some wine in the beautiful surroundings. Only a 10 minute walk into town. Hosts are very friendly. Highly recommend...

Stayed here over a long weekend. The hotel is located on the outskirts of town, which means that it is quiet, and there is a great outlook over the vineyard next door. The room was perfectly presented, clean and well appointed. The service was very good. As the name suggests, this is not your typical hotel- it is boutique as...

This place has very nice rooms (stylishly furnished) and pretty surrounds (well manicured gardens and vineyards to look out onto at the back). However, for $290 per night we expected more in terms of quality of service. Rooms at this end of the market should come with basic extras such as a breakfast service (none at all), a turn down...

Alystone is perfectly nestled between some of Martinborough's best wineries (Poppies for their platters and hospitality, and Margrain for their amazing tasting experience). The rooms are small but super comfy (we stayed in the Panama room) with everything you need and more (I've never seen so many pillows on a bed). A perfect little retreat as you bounce around Martinborough...

Peaceful place with friendly host. The room was beautiful, clean, large and the bed was really comfortable. The room had everything we needed. We enjoyed drinking wine on the patio with view to the wine yard :)

The room we had (Venice) was large and very comfortable with some really nice touches. Beautifully fluffy towels and robes, nice coffee and teas. Cold wet night when we arrived so the underfloor heating in the room was welcome. We were greeted by a helpful man who told us that the manager would be there the next day. Fair enough,...

From the moment we arrived Aylstone exceeded our expectations. The welcome was super friendly and the room was loverly and was full of little surprises. Everything had been thought of, including all the little extras. We will be back and suggest you spend some time here if you are heading to martinborough.

Stayed for 2 nights over the Anzac weekend. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back. The rooms were well serviced and it was full of lovely little touches like free chocolates, lollies and nuts...no mini bar charges for these which was great! We stayed in the Venice room which was very comfortable and had a lovely deck...
