We stayed here on the weekend to celebrate our anniversary - we got a package for accommodation breakfast and dinner. Our room was surprisingly big with a nice sitting area and we enjoyed strolling around the grounds. There are nice views. Downstairs there are rooms to sit and get a drink if you wish (old style drawing room & library...

We stayed in the Yarra Suite, and included two roll away beds. The roll away beds are not what I imagined they would be, much more luxurious, although those sleeping on them thought them to be a bit soft. There was plenty of room, the rooms are cleaned and linen changed each day. We had a balcony which was nice....

I have visited this property several times as an number of times. Chateau Yering Historically listed Hotel, offers Amazing close up Scenic views to the surrounding 'Great Dividing Range' in the Yarra Valley - where Hot Air Ballooning is the greatest rage. This beautiful establishment, boasts Antique furniture decorated throughout the whole entire premises. The Guest suites are tastefully decorated...

Wow, everything was fabulous, the staff, food and ambience. The wine list was extensive as you would expect and the knowledge of the staff top notch! The food was incredible, best scallops, pie, creme brûlée to die for!

We could not have been happier... Excellent weekend, stayed in the stables, beautiful four poster bed, open log fire and antique furnishings. Marble bathroom with huge spa. Lovely quiet environment in garden setting truly a memorable experience. We had dinner at Eleanor's and could not have been happier with the food and service. On my list of 'must do' again...

This is a really lovely historic hotel blending the old and new. This historic hotel is set in lovely grounds. The food in the restaurant for dinner was one of the best I've had. Highly recommend the Duck pie and the John Dorey. Divine... The buffet breakfast in the cafe was equally as nice and the staff in the restaurant...

We spent our 30th wedding anniversary at Chateau Yering and it was an excellent choice. The restaurant is beautiful, with great food. Our room was large and gracious, with stylish antique furniture, a very comfortable bed, and a great bathroom. Only one choice of bread for breakfast was a bit disappointing, but there were croissants, pastries, fruit, etc, in addition...

Stayed here for 2 nights over a long weekend. Easy check in process, and great customer service, was walked to our room by Staff, who explained the amenities of the room and 'Chateau' . The room itself is large, marble bathroom is great, high ceilings, with 1920's furniture. The King bed was 2 king single beds pushed together on a...

The building and gardens are beautiful but there are several other factors that really let the place down if they want to compete with top rated hotels. The rooms are pleasant but appear as though nothing much has been done to improve them for some years. The most disappointing aspect was the food in the restaurant which is ridiculously overpriced...

We stayed in the Stables room. Very romantic. Furnished with olde world charm, large room with a fireplace. After our meal in the restaurant we sat in font of the open fire with a lovely glass of chilled yarra valley wine. Doesn't get much better. Bathroom is large with a large spa and the best shower. Quiet and peaceful setting...
