We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay in the old Lodge (as part of a Barossa/Adelaide trip), staying in the room right next to the side entrance (and being able to park right there too). It is a bit out of town, but it is worth it, with nice garden surrounds complete with pet goats and wild rabbits, and the whole...

The Lodge is set in acres of garden and is like a Dowager's cottage. We were greeted by Phil who showed us around the Lodge and into our room. There were 6 other guests for the first night but we were the only guests for the other two nights. We ate in the Lodge on our first evening and treated...

We stayed only one night after going to a concert at the Seppeltsfield winery across the road. When I arrived, was greeted at the door by Colin who was very accommodating. Nothing seemed too much trouble. The room was beautiful decorated, as was the rest of the Lodge. The bed very comfortable. I was up very early and went for...

Our group used all the rooms in the main house and it was a private and fun way to celebrate our friendship. Breakfast in the morning is healthful and homemade with a great coffee machine to brew what you have a taste for. Dinner one night was in the cellar. This was perfect for a group of 10 and we...

We stayed for one night and enjoyed the experience. It's a great location but you need to ignore the entrance. The house is a historic treasure, quirky and bedrooms a good size with nice outlook. But the bathrooms are quite run down and need modernising. The gardens are pretty but not as well maintained as I would have expected for the...

Our hosts Colin and Philip could not have made our stay any better. The house is interesting and quirky, and a real antidote to the modern boxes we have stayed in as we worked our way around Oz. Some of the best breakfasts, and undoubtedly the best sausages, we experienced on or travels. The included tour of the Seppeltsfield winery...

The Lodge Country House, located in the picturesque and historic surrounds of Seppeltsfield, is a delightful place to base yourself while exploring the Barossa Valley. Set well back from the road and surrounded by pretty gardens, tall trees and a sweep of grapevines, the lovely old stone house is as welcoming as it could be. The large guest living and...

The host was extremely friendly and ensured we felt welcome and at ease in the Bed and Breakfast. There was complimentary tea, coffee, confectionary and snacks and we had our every need met. My only comment would be that the bathroom was a little dirty and the gardens run down, however the rest of the house was very clean and...
