I have given these cottages three star after staying at The Cape Du Couedic Cottages too. We experienced winds of 120 km / hr at Cape Willoughby. No sleep thought we would be blown away. That said the cottages are not as sturdy as the Cape du Couedic light house keepers cottages but comfortable and well equiped for a short...

We spent 2 nights in the Thomas Cottage - fantastic as a base for the east end of the island - great coffee and reasonably priced food at Zest and Thyme a stroll away. They did a takeaway curry for us for dinner too which was yummy. Best part was strolling the lighthouse grounds at dawn and dusk - not...

This was the first time in our lives we have stayed in a lighthouse keepers cottage. What a wonderful experience. The views, the isolation, the peace, the wildlife, the comfort of the cottage. Just an awesome life experience. Fully equipped kitchen. 30mins drive to nearest town of Penneshaw for groceries. Awesome cafe "Zest and Thyme" 2 mins walk from cottage...

The night before we were due to go to KI my daughter went into premature labour and had a stillborn son she also nearly died from loss of blood I understand that this is a business and I totally get keeping some money but they wouldn't refund anything I'm sure its a lovely spot and we would of enjoyed it...

Had a wonderful stay here with a cottage (Seymour) all to ourselves (just the two of us, although it sleeps eight or so). Exciting location, original cottages well-furnished and well-appointed, plenty of spare blankets! Also took the lighthouse tour while we were here. Highly recommended for a remote adventure away from usual hotel accommodation. Also a café next door (open...

We did not expected this to be so nice and comfortable. Totally enjoyed our time here. This is a wonderful place with its own very special feeling. Thank you very much! We loved it here. 100% recommendations.

We regretted only booking for one night at this beautiful spot. The cottage is spacious and well appointed with everything you need (except byo food and drinks). Lots of beds make it a great place to stay with friends or family. Hard to beat walking out the door to great cliff walks and awesome views.

I cannot recommend this place more. We only wish we had booked more nights. Time stops and you can put you feet up relax and enjoy good family time. Plenty on room and facilities to allow a comfortable stay

I can't imagine living here in the olden days. But the views are beautiful, despite the blustery conditions; I'm glad we made the effort to visit this lighthouse with so much history. Cute little cafe next door. Very friendly lighthouse staff, passionate about their job and know their stuff. Thank you.

Don't expect tv, radio, air conditioning, modern kitchen or room service but expect some of the best views on the island, expect a peaceful stay in a warm old 1920's house with mountains of history and heritage. Sit on the verandah and watch the sun go down and the animals come out to feed on the grass. There is a...
