Everything was superb except the dinner menus if you are a foodie, which lucky for us, we aren't. This is why I gave it an "average" for value. This retreat must be the most beautiful place in Australia.

We stayed here for three nights and although it rained almost the entire time, we enjoyed ourselves as Spicers is such a wonderful place to lounge around in. Staff are world class and incredibly friendly. The food of course is amazing although we only managed the full five courses for one dinner. Superb wine selection. We wouldn't come here specifically...

When you arrive at this hotel, you would have encountered an exciting drive up...approximately 12km of bumpy winding roads and you think you would never arrive at your destination! It was all so worth it....The staff are waiting for you on arrival and from the minute they greet you to the minute you leave, you really feel like they are...

Fantastic staff, delicious food (highly awarded restaurant!!!) and breathtaking surroundings... enjoy lovely walks in the rainforest and mountain bike trails. But best of all - the spa is just fabulous! The treatments were out of this world and the yoga session in the morning just...

We have been fortunate enough to enjoy this property for a second time. It is a heavenly world away from the real world. A great place to escape to with you partner and just enjoy time relaxing, eating, drinking and soaking in the amazing views and environment.

The stay at Spicers Peak Lodge is the ultimate luxury escape. From the moment we arrived we were given a warm welcome and greeted with a glass of champagne. The rooms are beautiful and the grounds are stunning and fantastic to explore. My partner and I travelled from Brisbane and even though we were away for 24 hours we returned...

Amazing Location. Perfect Accomodation. Outstanding Service! Spicers Peak Lodge is the country retreat we all wish we had as our own. The most beautiful house on a picturesque hill on the scenic rim. Topped off with some of the friendliest service I have ever had.

A wonderful, warm, inviting lodge set amongst the hills. We stayed in late November and were highly impressed with the considerate and personalised attention from all the staff. From the moment we arrived till when we left, we felt like honoured guests of the 'family'. We stayed in the 2 bedroom lodge and thoroughly enjoyed the solitude and peace from...
