As with derekb192, we left our organizing too late and came across Eden Lodge while looking for a place to stay. Eden Lodge is one of the few places in the area to have a sign out the front and with a vacancy/no vacancy. The little extras of port and chocolates, different types of coffee and home made biscuits and... More

Dear Janet Thank you for your review. We too like the interaction at Happy Hour and puts a smile on our faces as does knowing the little treats are appreciated. I have to admit that we under-estimate our signage and have been guilty of not putting out the No Vacancy sign when we are fully booked and likewise probably miss... More

Dear Derek Thank you for your review. It was an absolute pleasure to accommodate you two nights in a row - wouldn't have done it for everyone!! You both helped make the Happy Hour very enjoyable and a great remedy for we Sydney Swans tragic fans after their AFL Grand Final defeat. Look forward to welcoming you back to Eden... More

Stayed two nights here in a cosy and comfortable room with after hours access and adjacent to a shared guest lounge room which had a coffee machine complete with home made biscuits and Port for afters!! The view from this lounge room of the valley below was priceless and the crisp weather in September was a pleasant bonus. It was... More

Dear Gail Thank you for your wonderful review. We are happy to hear how much you enjoyed your stay with us. We were really delighted when you discovered, during Happy Hour, a connection with the other guests. Sometimes it feels like mysterious powers at work but of course it is just the 'six degrees of separation' in evidence once again.... More

The only regret with our stay at Eden Lodge was we only stayed for one night. Its hard to state what was more beautiful, the room, the house, the views, the breakfast, the location or Julie and Charlie. They made us feel welcome and their attention to detail was second to none. My partner and i couldn't recommend Eden lodge... More

Dear Paul Thank you for your review, much appreciated. We always enjoying hearing that guests enjoy staying at Eden Lodge. We also regret that our guests can't spend more time exploring the local scenery, artisan villages, restaurants etc. and of course absorb more warm hospitality :) Hope to see you both again one day. Warm regards Julie and Charlie More

Eden Lodge is wonderful in almost every aspect. Beautiful rooms, views, delicious breakfasts, and brilliant hospitality from both of the hosts. Almost. A last comment from one of the hosts, however, was rather nasty, arrogant, and very judgemental. I really don't want to have to say this, because in all other aspects Eden Lodge was wonderful, but this comment left... More

My fiance had not stayed in a B&B before & Eden Lodge was the perfect introduction to this type of accommodation. Charlie & Julie welcomed us warmly & were a wealth of information regarding the local region recommending places to dine & visit. We enjoyed a quiet night in & even though the place was fully booked, we still enjoyed... More

Spending our first anniversary at Eden Lodge with our hosts Julie and Charlie looking after us was beyond our expectation. It was the little things that mattered including the home baked cookies, chocolates and Port, breakfast including home made jams, beans, bread and Sweet corn fritters. The accommodation in the cottage was very romantic, and offered everything we could have... More

Speaking for myself, I didn't want to leave. I wanted to stay another night but we certainly made the most out of our stay in the beautiful Hinterlands of the Sunshine Coast. Dear Gretchen Thank you for your wonderful review. It made me consider all the times that we develop warm relationships with guests but then, all too soon, they have to leave.
