Firstly, confirm which resort you are actually booked into. I rang and believed that I had booked Bargara Blue Resort, but on arrival I was told we had been booked into The Point. Unbeknown to us there are 3 resorts under one management and despite stating our preferred Resort we ended up in The Point. All my research was done... More

Nice spot in Bargara and apartment not outstanding, easy to access town, compendium in room had no local information about where to eat or map of town like where my son was staying so were a little lost for a while. As we got in late did not know where to eat so had to look around. Jacuzzie in bathroom... More

The apartments are well equipped, although ours had no view to speak of. Not a worry though. Really good for an extended stay. Great location. Pity the free Wi-Fi is appalling. Staff helpful and friendly.

Location was beautiful and the staff are very kind. I'm not sure I'd call this a resort however. It's self-serviced with limited supplies for the dishwasher and washing machine. The room we stayed in was supposed to be a one bedroom, but as (what was probably concertina doors) had been taken out, it was most definitely a studio apartment. The... More

Things that were missing or not working in our room included the following: No coat hangers in wardrobe, no iron, no ironing board, no toaster, washing machine did not work (it switched on, but nothing happened), aircon did not work. And to top it all, when I was cold during the night, there was only a very smelly blanket in... More

Just had a 4 night stay with my teenage daughter. Such a gorgeous location. We had a one bedroom unit- very comfortable and clean, well laid out. Had everything we could possibly need for our stay. We had a ground floor unit which was ideal for walking straight out the door to the car or the waterfront. Easy walk into... More

The minute we arrived we were greeted with "the rules" plastered everywhere.. The lift, the hallway etc. It felt more like a school camp than holiday destination. We unpacked, undressed and were instantly intruded upon by "the aircon serviceman??" who let himself in, unaware the room was occupied! The tv in the lounge didn't work, the sheets were very poor... We got a ground floor ocean view room and had all you want, laundry, kitchen, air con, spa bath. The price of $190.00 doesn't make it the cheapest accommodation when traveling, but if you want to have a good location and all you need - its the place to stay. The place does have undercover car garaging and I appreciate... More

The Point Resort is an excellent place to stay, just to relax in Bargara, which is a quiet seaside village... or to explore the Bundaberg region, and all that it has to offer. Our apartment was excellent... clean, comfortable beds, quiet. The view from our top floor apartment was great... and the only disappointment was, even though it was migration... More

We were dissappointed that the apartment advertised as a one bedroom actually was only a studio with the bedroom joining the kitchen and lounge. The room had a very strong musty, damp smell and was very dated. The curtains were filthy and the blankets had stains on them.
