We stayed here at the end of a three month trip round Australia and NZ. We were so thrilled with our lodge (Wanji 1) that we decided not to bother setting foot outside the resort but to stay and enjoy the peace and beauty of the place. The lodge was clean, comfortable, spacious and well equipped, with kitchen and BBQ...

We recently stayed at Eaglereach Wilderness Resort - and absolutely loved it! The customer service was fantastic - the staff were very helpful and friendly. The cabin was comfortable and had a great view - and very relaxing. Our cabin was absolutely surrounded by wildlife! From the kangaroos and wallabies who loved the kangaroo feed - to the cheeky Kookaburras...

Greetings Sydney Chocolate You make us all very proud with your review of our wilderness resort. Particularly your appreciation of our management and staff team. If one wants a genuine resort experience you need on-site specialist staff a major feature not available in unhosted holiday cabins pretending to be a resort.. Also your warm appreciation of the prolific native wildlife...

The view from the verandah was to die for just spectacular - see below photo. We stayed for 4 days and just loved the no hassle, run at your own pace this style of holiday presented. We loved the bush walks and of course the yabby fishing and friendly Kangaroos were winners with the kids. If you want a kick...

We stayed at Eaglereach Wilderness Resort earlier this year for a romantic getaway. It was fun trying to find the place, as you are truly in the wilderness. The customer service was amazing and the buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of good quality food with a lovely view. If you're keen to take a day wine tasting tour, the...

Located in a burnt out area of bush, the cabin had no wild life nearby. The spa didn't heat and after six hours of waiting we were offered an alternative cabin, also with a cold spa. The air conditioner was too noisy to use. Purchased picnic lunch contained a bread roll burnt so badly it was black. Very over priced.

DebOeahL stayed with us a month ago and threatened to write a devastating review on Tripadvisor so we expected this. Yes the spa in the lodge did not heat up for some hours and for this we apologised and offered compensation but it was obvious they were aiming for a free holiday. There is a wide range of native animals...

The staff were very friendly and we loved the complimentary breakfast baskets. Definitely recommend biking to go exploring. Kangaroos came up to the cabin pretty much everyday, (plus goannas, possums and brush tail possums). We stayed in the silk wood lodge, great view to look out at from the spa.

I took my wife up there for her birthday recently and we had our 17 month old daughter with us. We loved the place, especially the fact that we were in the 'Wanji 1' cabin - on its own and possibly the most secluded place in the whole resort.
