Pleasantly surprised by this place which had obviously been refurbished recently. My room was huge with a really comfortable bed. It was very quiet overnight and I got a great sleep before an important meeting. The only problem was the lack of toiletries - only shower gel/shampoo combo provided. The pub next door was great for dinner and breakfast with...

Meeting up with colleagues in Wilmslow for an evening out and booked this hotel due to its location and the positive reviews. The location is the only real positive, don't class a room as being clean a positive, this should be a basic requirement. The room was fairly spacious, bathroom really needs a refurb, on arrival the ceiling was covered...

Left feeling a bit disappointed - it was the middle of three nights away in different locations for hubby's birthday - it was by far the most expensive and yet offered the least. The room was fine in appearance with a lovely large comfy bed and hot shower. However this was over a bath with a rusty nail sticking out...

The room was very clean, spacious and provided a good night's sleep! Ideal for our stop over prior to flying out of Manchester airport! The meal at night in the coach and horses was poor quality and not value for money. However the breakfast was lovely but just lacked fresh fruit and yoghurt as we do not choose cooked breakfasts.

Lovely room, clean hotel. We had breakfast on the second day which was dreadful. The service was extremely slow and half the breakfast was missing. No fresh coffee! Very pleasant staff but inexperienced.

Stayed overnight here and was extremely impressed! Large free car park right outside, hotel itself recently been refurbished/modernised from what we gathered. The bed was so amazing, huge and so comfortable! All amenities you could want.

We stopped here Friday evening and had an evening meal and breakfast in the coach and four attached. Room large with king size bed and very clean. Would definitely stay here again as it would make a great base for the airport and our friends in Manchester
