We stayed 1st/2nd September. Flight center had pre-booked and paid for us to stay on the 2nd. We arrived 1st sept and booked and paid for an extra night. The room they gave us had exposed electrical wires out the front of room. The room itself smelled moldy and damp and no air conditioning. We complained and they came and...

We found The airport inn easy to find just off the motorway. Once we booked in the staff were helpful, and directed us to the long stay car park which was on site and had CCTV in operation. Our room was warm and comfortable, we also enjoyed an evening meal which offered a very good deal.

This hotel is not close enough to the airport to have a shuttle bus listed. So we had to pay £25 cab. The interior is drab. Carpets are ancient. Poor value - best to choose Crowne Plaza or other hotel beside airport. Especially if your flight is late at night, then you can walk over.

The hotel is such a disappointment it made me write a review. I only go that in rare occasions. Publicly published as 3.5 stars the place remotely fails to be a 2 stars. To start with , receptionist made me feel guilty trying to check in prior to 2 pm. This is an airport hotel to remind you. I was...
