Run up to our trip, management answered all my questions and organised a quiet family room for us; early breakfast slots and packed lunches for the kids. Nothing was too much trouble! Check in was through the pub - friendly and helpful and a bar girl offered us drinks while we got sorted. Breakfast was pure wizardry - we sampled waffles, poached and boiled eggs, full Irish and porridge during our stay. All were delicious! Evening meals were just as perfect - we enjoyed the sausage and mash, linguine, chicken curry and turkey and ham. Although busy and lots going on, atmosphere was relaxed and staff were always on hand to help, making the hard work look effortless. A great stay!

We had a great nights sleep regardless of the main road and trains passing across the road. We didn’t hear a thing, brilliant soundproofing! Clean and comfortable room, fantastic pub downstairs and restaurant. We had food in the evening which was very filling and delicious, as was the breakfast. The staff were really lovely and welcoming.

I already read the reviews, so it gave me an idea of what to expect. I felt that the overall feel was very welcoming staff and the rooms were clean and I am generally very ocd about this. I use to live in Ireland and they are well known for fresh produce so the breakfast [vegetarian] sausages, mushrooms, fried eggs, hash browns and beans, it did not dissappoint very filling. I would consider to stay again and recommend to friends.

Booked O'gradys as it was conveniently located for a visit to a family member Room was,a twin bedded room, and quite small, with a fairly tiny en-suite. Having said that the room was clean, and beds comfortable, although maybe a deep clean would remove some staining on the carpet The noise from the bar at night was quite loud, but it was late night guests returning in the early hours caused the most disturbance to sleep. Irish breakfast (included in the room price) was good All in all, for the money paid not too bad

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We appreciate all feedback as it allows us to implement any necessary changes. We are sorry that you found the room to be a little bit small. If you had brought this to our attention during your stay, we would have been happy to move you to another room. I have passed your comments regarding stains on the carpet on to our House-Keeping team. In general we have our carpets cleaned on a monthly basis. Unfortunately staining can occur in between cleans as our rooms are mainly fully booked. Our House- Keeping team will address this immediately and we thank you for bringing it to our attention. You mentioned about noise from the other guests, we are a 14 room Guest House with 11 of our rooms being above our bar. We do have 3 rooms in our annexe building which are apart from the main Guesthouse and Bar and are considerably quieter. Hopefully you will stay with us again and we would be happy to allocate you a room in our annexe. This does need to be requested at the time of booking in order to ensure availabilty. We are glad that you found the rooms to be comfortable and we do hope to see you again soon. Warm Regards, Cindy - Reservations

2 years since I last stayed at O'Gradys Guest House and definately not disappointed. It has been well maintained remains very comfortable (not showing signs of being tired or lack of attention). Having stayed previously on numerous occasions it is nice to see some of the same staff. As alway very welcoming, rooms clean & modern and very good evening meals in the restaurant and bar (including exceĺlent Guinness).
