We were a group of approximately 24 from our local health walks, & had a walk to the restaurant prior to lunch. A leisurely pre lunch drink was taken in the library bar,& there was a good varied menu. The service & food was excellent & was served quite quickly the staff were quietly attentive allowing us all to socialise....

It was so good not to have the London hum to contend with when trying to sleep & great to have somewhere to walk away from traffic. We want to come back to explore the countryside, which is a first for us and a London hotel!

We held our evening reception here in the music room and stayed in the honeymoon suite. We sought a venue close to the temple where we married and wanted a small but intimate location that had character and this place has it all, lovely grounds and period feel giving a great. Service from the staff is friendly and prompt. The...

Grim's Dyke Hotel is the former country house of Sir William Gilbert, of Gilbert & Sullivan fame. Tribute is paid to this most famous duo, by regular performances of their operettas, and various talks. The operettas are performed in the dining room, and dinner courses are served during the intervals. the singers move among the diners, and you're close up...

I booked and supplied credit card details for this hotel. I completed all mandatory fields, necessary to book, including credit card details, name, address, email address and telephone number. I selected this hotel as it was the closest to golf club, I was playing early next morning. I knew I would be checking in late. I arrived at this Grim...

We wanted to stay in a local hotel away from the town. Grim's Dyke is a short drive from Harrow but set in the most wonderful gardens. Even on the coldest day of the year so far they looked beautiful. An initial hiccup with a staff member on reception soon went away. We had a lovely night in a grand...

I have visited the Grim's Dyke Hotel on a number of occasions for formal dinners or weddings so it seemed like the obvious choice of venue for a surprise lunch to mark my wife's special birthday. I booked the event a couple of months in advance and told the events manger that it was going to be a surprise birthday...

We went to this hotel specifically to see a production of The Yeoman of the Guard (which was excellent) and stayed three nights. There is a pretty formal garden and a wilder wooded area around the hotel. Best Western are dealing with a building which was originally a private home, which provides both lots of interest and some problems. There...
