I stayed here for one night on business, I didn't arrive until the evening and the drive/appearance of the main house is very creepy!! Check in took about 20 minutes, I stayed in the Garden Suites, the entrance is unsecured and you can access without a keycard worryingly! I've stayed a quite a few Best Westerns previously and this is...

My husband and I had an amazing meal at the Grymsdyke on Friday. The standard is very high. Service is impeccable and the food beautifully served. Truly delicious. Personally, I couldn't eat some of the food on the menu and I called ahead to arrange. They couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. We had an overnight and breakfast at...

We booked a family lunch for a 60th Wedding anniversary. The management suggested we had a private room which was helpful and we were made welcome on arrival There were 17 for lunch and the food was good. However simple mistakes were made by the waiters and so the wrong food was delivered. This is easy to correct but symptomatic...

I booked this hotel for one night when staying away for business. Normally, Best Western hotels are either stunning, or frustratingly disappointing. This one was the latter unfortunately. The actual grounds of the hotel were really lovely. Quite a way from any noisy roads so it was very quiet there. I arrived at around 5:30pm after an extremely long day....

My partner and I stayed at the Grim's Dyke Hotel after vising Warner Bros Studios in December 2015 as it was in the ideal location. Beautiful grounds, clean rooms. Although we were disappointed we couldn't stay in the main historic building due to a wedding function we were pleased with the lovely clean room we stayed in which wasn't far...

Just back from a fantastic stay at this beautiful hotel. When we first arrived we were stunned by the beautiful setting of this hotel. The grounds are breath taking and the building itself is beautiful and full of history. The rooms were far larger than we expected and so clean. We ate at the hotel throughout our stay and the...

The hotel is staffed by a young and very helpful crew. Breakfasts are generous and excellent. Room we had was clean but ageing and not well. Matresses sagged more than a little and the internal lock on the door did not function - also one of the windows couldn't be closed properly. Lighting is all a bit odd and not...
