This isn’t an expensive stay (I paid £62 for a lakeside view) – and it’s not really a “hotel” - so those considering staying here shouldn’t expect hotel standards. I chose the hotel due to location (close to an event I was attending) and the fact that the lake/park area looked lovely. We stayed in room 60 on the lakeside....

Thank you for your recent review of the Inn on the Lake and I am pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay. We are aware that the wifi can be difficult to reach in certain areas of the hotel and as someone who has to use the internet every day, I completely understand how frustrating this can be. I...

The hotel has not changes in 20-30 years so if you're only staying for one night its ok. The hotel is near the motorway and my room had no view of any lake. You can't have the windows open during the night as the constant noise from the motorway (main road to Dover) is overwhelming. Breakfast is nothing special. Don't...

From the moment that you walk through the front door after the automatic sliding doors have rattled their way open, you enter a time warp back to the 1980's. The angled reception desk is varnished (???) and loose as you fill out your details. As a van-driving single traveller I was assigned a car park side room, otherwise known as...

Decided to book a one night stay as were attending a wedding nearby. On arrival we were greeted by a very helpful receptionist (Muriel). Given key to Room 14. Lovely lake view but the room itself was dire. The bed was dirty, hair in the bed and disgusting sheets and pillows that were so old and faded and threadbare I...

I stayed at this hotel with a coach party of 35 people. Our dinner and breakfast was included in the price of the trip. When arriving at the hotel it looked rather pleasant. Our room was a twin room upstairs unfortunately our room over looked the main motorway and not the lake. Others were fortunate to have that. The room...

Located next to the A2 between London and Rochester, the late check in was trouble free with the WiFi code provided. The room was large and clean with a view of the lake. The bathroom in particular could have used an update but it was scrupulosity clean. Breakfast was included and of good quality. I'll be coming back.
