A great hotel for a short stay. Friendly people, big room with nice view and balcony, very good beds and excellent shower. Breakfast is okay. Only negative thing, concerning breakfast: no fresh juice and really bad coffee...

One night stay. Evening dinner was great although some menu items not available. Had steak, and creme brullee which was delicious. They managed to surprise us. The beds were comfy, breakfast was ok and general stay was fine. Not 4 star but ok. Short walk to the dunes and easy access to beach. View of dunes from room was good.

Rooms are clean and spacious enough. The balcony is nice on a sunny evening. Location is perfect just outside the village. At walking distance of the beach and villages nearby sport accommodations. The restaurant offers free WiFi and believe it or not, it really works ;-) Reception is good.

Well located just outside the village of Callantsoog. Close to the beach of the North Sea. Lots of free parking space. Easy to find. Rooms are spacious with nice view over the countryside and dunes, but outdated. No desk or table in the room to work on. Shower and toilet in 1 big space with almost no light. paint is...

We chose this hotel for its location close to the sea and the beach. It is a friendly family hotel. A bit dated, '70's style, with a large, open dining room. Functional for a beach holiday and close to bigger cities like Amsterdam and Alkmaar.

A somewhat aged accomodation. But since price, beds and breakfast is very good with a fair rate for a night i still would recommend this place. Is close to the beach. We had a 4 persons bedroom. Small room, groundfloor, view on parkinglot.

We stayed two nights in the hotel. They suggest it is a four star hotel but my opinion is at the edge of a 2 to 3 star hotel. Old fashioned. Needs a pimp up on all the levels. Looks like for the last years no maintenance has been done.

The hotel is dated but rooms are large, basic, but beds are comfortable. Good variety for breakfast. We had two suppers at the restaurant and food was delicious. We took a three night cycling package which included a picnic lunch that could feed us for two days! There are tulip fields across from the hotel only a 5 min walk....

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was ok, but really nothing special. The hotel is old and you can see that. Unfortunate for us the indoor swimming pool is also not open anymore (we specially booked it for the swimming pool). The rooms were very big, with two nice lounge chairs. If I do not like something, then...

Callantsoog seemed to me to be a rather dated little seaside resort - not exactly throbbing with nightlife, but that may be your kind of thing. This hotel, formerly the Tulip Inn, is a good 15 minute walk from the centre down some residential streets. It has a reasonable sized pool, and a sauna which costs extra. Restaurant food was...
