As arrived to the Hotel we found a very unfriendly receptionist. From the very first moment we thought that our friend maybe had a bad day - but as the day were counting our friends mood stayed the same for our whole stay. The Hotel was classiefied 4 starts on 5, actually it was not. The room was not as described. Many facilies werre missing (air condition, fridge and towels). As there was no fridge in the room and we had some beveradges to keep cold, we asked to the reception to hold them in the kitchens fridge. The next day when we wanted to take our stuff the reception told us the didnt know where the stuff was, meaning they lost our stuff. The receptionist never apologized to us in addition treated us very rudely.

Thankfully we only stayed at the hotel for one night. The rooms are old fashioned. We had booked 3 rooms and two of the rooms had a horrible smell. No kettle in the room. However, the front desk staff are helpful. Overall I would not be going back to Fletcher hotel.

Fletcher hotel & restaurant Waalwijk was the perfect location for us to stay with our large family group the night before going to Efteling. Arriving late after a long trip, the kitchen had technically closed but they still organized some yummy foods for us. The staff could not have been more accommodating and even our pickiest young eaters were delighted with the breakfast selection (us adults were too but not as picky as the young ones in the group!) Perfect spot, and definitely will stay when we do this trip again next year (provided no pandemics scupper our plans like they did the last few years!) Excellent value, great service! Many thanks to the staff for making sure our holiday began in a wonderful way!

Stayed here in November. The room was very basic, outdated, the room was very cold, as the window didn’t shut properly and the radiator was in need of repair, only half of it heated up! I slept fully clothed with two duvets on. The carpet tiles were coming up as well. No tea or coffee making facilities, I asked for and was given a kettle and when I went to put water in it was filthy inside ( the picture perhaps doesn’t show the extent of how dirty it was) I got short changed on reception when buying a bottle of coke due to thirst and the aforementioned lack of facilities, it was €2.80 for a small bottle and they still had the cheek to try and short change me. I couldn’t wait to check out and certainly won’t be returning! I did see some of the staff were polite and helpful but it was not good at all, this is the only fletcher hotel I have stayed at and now wouldn’t use their hotels again.

It is a 4-star hotel but there are very basic furnitures in the rooms. No minibars, no refrigerator,no cups nor glasses. The smell in the bathroom was terrible, the toilet seat is not stable and terrible smell comes out.

I have stayed here before and as always I book well in advance to ensure I have King Themed Suite. (See photos) To my horror the Hotel changed to Fletcher Hotel Chain and the room/ hotel decor changed too. I was not informed about this and we arrived to spend 3 nights in a bland , boring , just another hotel room. We had recommended this hotel to 9 of our friends who also booked rooms. I have never been so embarrassed as I praised this hotel for its breakfast, ambiance and facilities. GONE....tea making facilities in the rooms! Artwork throughout the hotel by local artist Josien Broeren! Pottery and other items by the artist for sale! Breakfast was typical chain hotel rubbish. We attend the Drunen car show each year. Won't be back to Fletchers Hotel....anywhere in the world. We had to arrange our own tables to accommodate our group for dinner. Overpriced to say the least. I booked and paid for decor, ambience and warmth we have previously experienced but this year was a total disaster. King bed.....was now 2 single mattresses....yeeeugh! Disgusting room 227.....don't pay extra for this room. Also breakfast costs extra. It was always included before!! I can't give zero rating. So reluctantly given a 1.

We stayed here 1 night and upon entering the room, could not believe this hotel has 4 stars. The decor was ugly and old-fashioned, the flooring consisted of old carpet tiles with stains, there was no fridge/mini-bar, no kettle or coffee machine, and the room was dusty. There's no air conditioning and no screens on the windows. Because we were on the ground floor beside a laneway (and looking out onto a brick wall), we didn't dare leave the window open. The rooms are also very noisy - you hear everyone in the corridor and opening/closing (slamming) doors of other rooms. Although the beds were comfortable, we didn't sleep well because it was hot and noisy. We honestly cannot understand how this hotel has earned 4 stars. Not only were the rooms terrible, there are also no guest facilities in the hotel besides a restaurant. When we asked about Waalwijk and where to go, the girl at reception said Waalwijk itself wasn't really worth visiting and she didn't have a map of the city centre for us. Hmm. Overall, a very poor experience. Glad we didn't pay a lot of money for the room, but it's the worst, most old-fashioned "4-star hotel" we've ever stayed at. Never again.

Some parts like the bar area modern and pleasant but rooms need updating. Ours had smell of smoke still. Slept badly as walls were very thin so any movement in the hallway was heard. Good spacious car park and reasonably priced

the hotel is tired and in need of modernization. it is missing some of the features that you come to expect in a modern day hotel, like a gym or swimming pool. the rooms were tired and in need of renovation. although they were adequate for our stay they were not luxurious or modern with is something that can be quite nice when staying away from home on business. the windows were old and didnt seal great. the bathroom was functional but lacked modern thermostatic taps, so the shower temperature changed from hot to burning with other guests waking up and turning on or off the showers. the food was ok nothing to write home about and the breakfast was what you come to expect from a lower rated hotel. functional but not a great selection. in the towns there were some great restaurants and very cheap so would recommend venturing out for food. the staff were ok, some more friendly than others.

This was my third visit to the hotel, I am here for work, and this time we planned for my girlfriend to visit also. She arrived around 10 am, (long flight), and of course she was hungry. After checking in she found herself inbetween breakfast and lunch in terms of the kitchen hours. However the wonderful member of staff, named Raoul, went the extra mile and had something prepared for her, even though the kitchen was supposed to be closed. Typical of this friendly and comfortable hotel.
