Tesserete is a small village nested in the hills about km6 from Lugano. The hotel is pretty, clean, with a great and friendly service provided by the owners ( two smarts lads belonging to the third generation of hotel & restaurant owners). A good restaurant is few meters away. An outstanding value for money proposition !

Just a few minutes drive above Lugano you will find Tesserete and its Hotel Tesserete. Everything was just great: the friendly welcome with a few hints about good places to eat, the fan in the room, very high ceilings to keep the room cool... And breakfast on the shaded front terrace. On top of it all, the morning coffee was...

This wonderfully original hotel put us in mind of the type of hotel that would have featured in people's grand tour of the early 20th century That aside, this is a very well run hotel. Part owner, Luca, is a charming young man with a dry sense of humour, but his best asset is making his guests feel comfortable and...

A charming hotel far exceeding its 2 star rating. Rooms are simple but very well cleaned and maintained. What makes a stay here such a memorable experience is the 5 STAR service provided by the Busomi family. The two sons were very hospitable without being in your face and could not have been more helpful in providing local information which...

I travel on business for about 4 months of the year. I have stayed in literally hundreds of hotels in pretty much every country in Europe. This is only the third hotel in 15 years of travelling that I can honestly say I would take my family back to for a holiday. This hotel is run by brothers Luca and...

“Rooms facing the front corner of the hotel could be noisy with traffic during the day; you may wish to ask for rooms facing the back. Try to ask if there are rooms with a view of the famous mountain range "i denti vecchio" or the "old man's teeth." Wi Fi is complimentary throughout!”
