We'd stopped briefly in Yaiza before but this was a chance to stay over and chill for a couple of nights. The hotel is converted from an old house with real charm - and has a good restaurant, downstairs art gallery and a jacuzzi on the roof sun terrace. Our ground floor room/suite was tasteful and old-style, inc hand-painted wardrobe...

Beautifully decorated, very comfortable room with a huge bathroom. We stayed 3 nights at the end of January. The weather was disappointing so there wasn't a scramble for sun beds but I noticed that there weren't enough to go round. The food in the restaurant was good but would have benefited from a special or two each night. Breakfast was...

we came upon this gem of a restaurant on the outskirts of Yaiza. and returned 5 times during our holiday. Friendly staff, fantastic ambiance and first class cuisine. We dined under the stars and inside. Well worth the detour once you find it!!!!

I read the earlier reviews after having just returned from a week at this pleasant small boutique hotel to celebrate my birthday and catch a few rays before Christmas. We were always more interested in Lanzarote "Nature" rather than Lanzarote "Plage" and this is an ideal base for the national park and the coastal villages and smaller resorts. Overall impression...

I stayed here in August 2013 and was happy with my stay then. This time, however, I unfortunately have to add some negative comments which deluded me quite a bit about this very charming and beautiful place. It is a small boutique hotel with only 10 rooms, actually made for guests who want to get away of the trouble and...

We were delighted by so many aspects of the Casona. Yaiza is a tranquil little town with a couple of good restaurants, and an easy reach to anything else on the island. Our lazy mornings were disrupted only by the sound of farmers driving their tractors to the fields, and we spent more than one evening sipping local malvasia on...

Stumbled across this little gem by accident while looking for somewhere quiet to stay while my mother was in hospital in Arrecife. The owner was an absolute star even emailing medical reports for us to get my mothers treatment underway. After stressful days at the hospital it was a haven of peace and tranquility to come home to to sit...

We stayed here for four nights in October. The place is so incredibly quiet, we hardly saw anyone else, but that is what we were after! The rooms are dark as the building has two foot stone walls, but they are beautiful and decorated in a boutique style, and very clean. Our shower was particularly fabulous. No aircon so in...

My Wife and I have recently spent a most enjoyable week in Lanzarote, and consider ourselves lucky to have found La Casona. Having visited the island before, we already liked Yaiza and its location, and we think La Casona is a delightful little hotel. We've never stayed in a hotel anywhere that we would say was absolute perfection, and La...

I read about this charming hotel many years ago, and it was on my list to stay there. My expectations were quite high. Some experiences were positive, others less... The village of Yaiza consists of almost only white houses. It is a very charming, lovely village. La Casona de Yaiza is located a couple of hundred meters from the center....
