We have recently spent a week in Palmanova, Majorca, at the Son Matias Hotel. Over looking a lovely, flat sandy beach with fantastic sea views. The food is excellent with a good choice at both breakfast and dinner. There is day time and evening entertainment, with something for most tastes. Rooms are modern and well furnished, including tea/coffee making facilities. The...

BUT there was one very serious issue which effected my wife's health. The smoking area is next to the bar and entertainment room and a lot of smoke settles in...

We stayed in one of the newly renovated double rooms (Room 102) on the first floor and it was beautifully decorated in a contemporary style....

It was indeed a pleasure staying at this superb hotel, our stay was absolutely perfect, from the kind, courteous, and professional staff, to the meticulous, comfortable rooms and common areas, the breakfast and dinner buffet in my experience is nothing less than exceptional. However I am confused by the "petty policy"of not allowing guests to take a mug from the room to breakfast,furthermore...
