We stayed at the monastery for 2 nights. The rooms are very spacey but also very cold. A sidenote - You had to make the beds your self. The restaurant was below average with a very limited buffet in the morning. Difficulty to get energy enough for a full day hicking. The location is nice with some very nice hicking...

We stayed overnight on a hiking trip. The location, buildings and views are spectacular and worth a visit. It's possible to go on a day trip. Some staff were friendly and helpful, others were frankly rude. Breakfast wasn't great. No fresh produce available - tinned fruit and UHT milk, coffee machine producing synthetic coffee. It would be better probably not...

Thank you for your comment. Regarding your comment about the food, there is no canned fruit, but the menu changes every day. We usually have fresh fruit and fruit in syrup. On the other the ham is freshly cut from the same morning and the pastry baked by the same kitchen that same morning, so if it arrives at 8:00...

If u visit Mallorca and u do the Tramuntana mountain route, u have to stop at Lluc Monestery. Really liked the historical feel of this place. Well kept, clean and in beautiful surroundings. We also walked through the gardens, which was also very nice.

In the middle of Tramuntana mountain, away from everything this place has a very special feel to it. Great to reflect, hike, slow down. We go there for retreats. We love the hiking trails around the monastery. You find different ranges of tours, well mapped. The only drag is the food: It is neither good nor bad, not expensive, not...

...at £59 a room for the night you can't really complain. We stayed here for three nights. We'd stayed at port de pollenca for two nights here for three then down to port de Sollar. It gives you that comparison that you need in life really. Going from the commercial business to peace and tranquility. The original room we had...

This converted monastery provides a perfect location for a walking holiday in the Tramuntana area. Our room on the first floor looked out over the main courtyard and was simply but comfortably furnished. By 4pm most of the coach party crowds had departed leaving the hotel guests to enjoy the peace and fine views. Breakfast was simple but adequate setting...

This is a difficult review to score out of 5: travelling as a couple in a group and staying for 3 nights in late September we arrived in the evening to check in and were allocated room 217. Recently refurbished in a stark, monastic, style the room offered fantastic views to the mountains surrounding but also smelt strongly of 'paint?'....

Dear Customer, Thank you for your comment, it has been a pleasure to have you with us. We regret any inconvenience you had in our sanctuary, we take note to improve. Understand that it is a religious hostel and not a luxury hotel is important. Thank you! Best wishes.

This is a fantastic place with a basilica, which houses the famous Black Virgin statue, Museums, restaurants, a botanic garden, and lots of places to investigate and explore. It is busy though, so don't expect too much tranquility.

A beautiful place in peaceful mountains. A hidden gem. The choir in the Abbey was charming and the organ was good too. The museum was very interesting and the walk to the large cross was worth the views. Highly recommend a visit!

We did a mountain bike tour to the monastery and it was great place to have a break before starting the drive down again. The monastery is nicely renovated and has a decent cafe for sandwiches, pizza and refreshments
