Travelled from Northern Ireland last minute to Hotel Sumba and we were really impressed. Quality and quantity of the food was excellent - it catered for all tastes. Excellent beach location (beach shallow with lovely golden sand) resort was quiet (no clubbing etc) . Refurbishment of the bathrooms (a little dated but clean) wouldn't go amiss. Bedrooms were excellent and...

Me and my partner stayed in the Hotel Sumba for 1 week at the end of July/August. All Inclusive food was lovely plenty of bread, salad, fish, chicken, pork, steak all cooked fresh from the grill. Cake's and fresh fruit were plentiful along with the usual chips etc. Drinks in the hotel were spot on and there was no need...

We have just returned from holidaying at the Hotel Sumba. We were a mixed family party with ages ranging from a 5 year old to a 71 year old and we all had a wonderful time. Food was great, staff friendly and obliging, fantastic location practically on the beach. In fact it was "sunshine" all the way!

We arrived at the Sumba feeling a little apprehensive after reading some reports, however we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were very good with a flat screen tv which showed BBC 1 & 2 which was fine. The hotel does cater for Germans which was also fine, although on a couple of occasions we were subjected to some body building...

We stayed at the Hotel Sumba in early June 2010 and had a great holiday. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the rooms were comfortable, you could get BBC on the telly, the food in the restaurant was good, with plenty of choice and it was easy to get a sun bed if you wanted one. The bar staff are friendly...
