A wonderful little hotel with fabulous views. As the hotel is high in the village you need to be able bodied to reach it. The staff are friendly but you will need to know some Spanish. Great location for walking to restaurants and bars.

My wife and I stayed here for a week. Most people seemed to come for 1 or 2 nights. It is not easy to find in a car, although the instructions were correct they didn't tell you to ignore the no entry sign and the pedestrian only sign ! We parked in the public car park and walked up. It... More

Cannot comment on the hotel as only visited the bar. The barman came across as unfriendly. 4 drinks (3 cokes and a small beer) cost €8 euros which seemed very expensive! Should have taken the hint since the bar was deserted compared to the rest of the town. Would not recommend for a drink

We had dinner in El Castello, on the roof. Tables and chairs were not very exciting but the food certainly was. Good service, tasty dishes, great wine. The waiter warned us that portions were large, which was nice. We split boquorones (starter) and then had Moroccan chicken an mackerel, both delicious. We also split a desert cocktail. We will be... Myself and 7 other family member rented out the Whole Castillo for the last 2 weeks in August and had the most amazing holiday. The owners were welcoming and very friendly and the Castillo itself is full of Spanish charm. The whole place was cleaned regularly and has everything you need to accommodate a large group if eating in. My... More

We appreciated the warm Spanish sun in late March. Tucked into one of the numerous alcoves, reading, drinking our coffee in morning and wine in the afternoons, and enjoying the spectacular scenery from every vantage point at el Mirador de Castillo. The rooms are simple and keeping with the Spanish tradition. A most excellent three days. We will be back... More

We had a return trip to this lovely B&B.It had been reburbished since our last visit. It is extremely clean in the bedroom and ensuite. Its sense of history remains everywhere. Juan and his wife Consuela were so welcoming. We had a breakfast each morning and chose a typical spanish, tomato toast.Plenty of tea and coffee, juice and cakes available too. I would advise... More

On our way to Malaga we were looking in "Lonely Planet" to find a place to stay over the night. Our eyes fell on el Mirador del Castillo de Mojacar. What a place! We ended up staying there for a whole week. This little Castillo is built on the very top of el Pueblo de Mojacar, where there once was... More

The stay at el Mirador del Castillo should have been the cream on the cake of our Andalusian tour but we left with mixed feelings. The Good: - The Almenzora room is one of a kind: very spaceous, charming, and almost a complete 360 degrees of spectaculair views. - Nice bathroom where you can even enjoy the views taking a... I found this Small Hotel /Hostal when looking at the area on Google Earth. Stayed for two nights room only. It only has 5 rooms and a bar which opens in the morning at about 10am and evening until 11pm. Situated in Old Majocar and is the highest building in this small White Village. Has a nice courtyard garden with... More
