We had a 4 night stay at the Arco Plaza. We found that we could drive up to the hostal to check-in and drop off our bags, and then take the car down to the village car park and return to the hostal via the public lift (brilliant!). We were warmly welcomed by Jose, who gave us a map of...

We looked for a place to stay within 2hours drive from our holiday home to get away while it was being painted. Mojacar fitted the bill & had looked interesting on a brief visit some years ago. We saw this hostal on trip advisor & booked 2 nights. When we arrived the room was not ready - our fault as...

This is a small hotel ("hostal") in the beautiful old village of Mojacar, which is a few kilometres inland from the beach. There is a half-hourly bus service to the beach during the day but the village has much more going on in the evenings than the beach area. The rooms are spotlessly clean and bed linen was changed daily....

We stayed one night at Arco Plaza. Our room was clean, although a bit on the small side but with a wonderful view of the ocean. Jose showed us all around town on the map and booked us a great restaurant and the best table in the restaurant for dinner. Overall a great experience.

Jose welcomed us and was a very friendly and informative host . We had room203 which wasn't over big but was very clean and...

Even out of Season this was a great place to stay. The views from our terrace were spectacular. Jose, the owner spoke excellent English and was particularly helpful. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

Lovely value for money hostel. Rooms clean and spotless with magnificent views. Jose, the owner could not have been more friendly and helpful. Located well for bars and restaurants and good bus service to the beach. Will certainly return and will recommend to our friends..

Very clean and homely, perfect spot for shops, bars and restaurants, very good bus service to the beaches, Jose the owner was an absolute gem! Always wanted to hear where you had been and offered his advice on where to eat.. Will for sure be going back.

This hostal was not a destination point panned for our holiday. We had scheduled it only as an overnight stop to break up our drive from Gibraltar to Valencia. As such we were not expecting much but were very pleasantly surprised. Old town Mojacar is a kilometer or so from the beach perched atop a hill as many "old towns"...
