This hotel is the real deal! From our room we can see the Dom Luís I Bridge every day! It’s 10 mins of walking distance to Mosteiro da Serra do Pilar, Ribeira, and all Porto’s main attractions. The breakfast selections were superb and all the staff were very helpful and kind. If you bring a car, make sure to reserve in advance so you can get the guest’s assigned parking spot. The hotel will not do valet parking, but a staff member can accompany you to the parking garage. If you don’t reserve in advance, you can park at the public parking garage, which the staff can help accompany you as well.

There are fast exit from floor 14 to the top crossing side of the Dom Luis Bridge and from floor 1 to the bottom crossing side of the bridge. Overall we are very pleased with this hotel. Not only the location is super perfect, but the amenities, services, and cleanliness are all what made this hotel deserve a 5 stars!

Wonderful hotel. Arrived and greeted with sparkling wine which was lovely. Then went to room on 12th floor, booked standard room with a view, beautiful view of the bridge and Porto and lovely to see lights in evening. Room was very clean and included a bottle of water and in bathroom handcream, soap etc and shower. They had left me a cake for my birthday which was lovely. Then had booked a meal for 50th and had the convert which was bread roll, 2 butters with olive and olive and tomato and a few canapés. Had orange juice which was freshly squeezed and husband had wine and they let him sample it first and they rejected 2 bottles themselves and were very careful. Then I had the seabream, the menu in English says its a salad but it was even better it was seabream on potato with asparagus and other veg with a mango tiny salad. Husband had fish with rice. Both meals were excellent. Then we had Poire Belle Helene x 2 and this was excellent, a whole pear covered in dark chocolate with some creme anglaise and a nice cake with caramel on top and mine came with birthday candle and they gave us 2 free glasses of rose sparkling wine for my birthday. Several staff wished me a happy birthday which was lovely as its been a difficult year with cancer and chemo. Beautiful views. Left early as early flight back and they arranged a taxi for 3,45am who was great and was about 35 euros including a tip. Way out was in rush hour and 50 euros we got at airport. Thanks very much to all the staff.

Strongly recommend this hotel Stayed 3 nights and the quality, service, staff, and prices are all excellent. Special shout out to Ines (Innes?) in the restaurant for her excellent service too. The rooms are finished to a very high standard and the location overlooking the Ponte Ferrero is spectacular. Loved our stay here.

The staff are welcoming especially Cristiana she made us feel welcome from the time of the booking to check in and also when we left.
Great location next to the Ponte Luis and by the Jardim do Morro metro(tram) stop. Handy to get to Porto town and also to VN Gaia waterfront for the boat cruises and the restaurants and Port Wineries. We were given a room on Level 10 which has a magnificent view of the bridge. The room is very well appointed with timber floors and a very very comfortable bed and pillows. The bathrooms are also very sizeable with good shower pressure. Nespresso coffee machines are always a good touch. My only complaint is that housekeeping never try to remember your preferences . Have to constantly ask for and it was specially annoying as we were here for more than a week over Easter. However these were minor compared to the positives. The hotel breakfast buffet is very sumptuous and worth a try at least once. The selection changes over the days. In all a very well run operation and it shows in the staff attitude and service. Highly recommended !

The Vincci Ponte de Ferro might be one of the pricier accommodation options in Porto but this brand new hotel does also offer some of the best views. Worth splurging on a room with a view to be able to wake up and enjoy your coffee with that incredible bridge at your feet. The rooms are equipped with coffee machines for those waking before breakfast is served.
And the highlight for most might be the rooftop pool offering a very memorable scenic swim. Although the water can be still pretty chilly on an October morning. The pool is at the end of a rooftop bar area so later in the day the swim can also be accompanied by a drink or two. This hotel might not be a regular treat for those on a tight budget but so worth it for a once in a lifetime treat.

We've stayed in countless hotels and this hotel made such a wonderful impression that we will remember it for years to come. Unless you're looking to be in the midst of the shopping/restaurant (ie tourist) area, this is the best location one could ask for in Porto.

The views are what you see from the bridge or Jardim do Morro (both right next to the hotel) but have the option to enjoy them from the comfort of your room or the hotel lounge. Easy access to Ribeira and tourist sights via bridge, and the port houses and river bank are just an elevator ride down (sure beats climbing up/down stairs!).

Every hotel staff we encountered was friendly and professional, our room was thoughtfully designed for comfort and functionality, and we enjoyed relaxing in the bars/lounges after a full day of sightseeing.

We highly recommend this hotel and will be staying here again should we return to Porto!

I visited Porto specifically to taste and buy port and so wanted a location in Vila Nova de Gaia, convenient to the port lodges Vincci Ponte de Ferro is a beautiful hotel that fronts right at the Luis 1 bridge upper level. One of the things that makes this hotel so wonderful is that it spans 15 floors and has entrances on both the top level of the bridge and the lower level, making it a convenient walk to the city center of Porto, as well as to the river front of both Gaia and Porto. The hotel offers exclusive entrance and exit to its guests at the lower level of the bridge. I do have to say, though, that the climb back to that entrance from the river is pretty intense, though fairly short! The hotel and rooms are beautiful and modern with beautiful views of the bridge and Porto. The beds are very comfortable and the linens are great! The television casts from your device, so you can watch Netflix or HBO or many other networks with apps, no matter your home country or language. The hotel is super clean and the staff are very sweet and accommodating with recommendations and directions. I visited in March, so didn't get to take advantage of the pool and outside bar but the location is beautiful. I had dinner in the restaurant and the food was excellent, however I was freezing, so didn't want to linger. The wine bar was lovely, warm and inviting, also with a gorgeous view, and the bartender was very knowledgeable about port.

Just back from 5 nights at the Vincci Ponte de Ferro hotel.

The positives:
* Excellent location, gives access to the higher parts of towns (top exit) or the lower/riverside part of town (bottom exit) without having to use steep stairs or pay for the funicular (15 floors in total). No other hotels offer this
* Great views from the restaurant and terrace over the bridge (main landmark in Porto) and old Porto. Probably one of the best views from any hotels
* Recent hotel (4 years old?), well decorated, in excellent spotless condition
* Great wifi speed (including fast upload)
* Spotless, well decorated room and bathroom. Comfortable bed, plenty of pillows
* Efficient air conditionning
* Very close to a metro station (D line, going over the bridge). Could even come from the airport by metro (with one change)
* Small supermarket nearby (on top level)
* Walking distance to the main train station, cathedral and many other sites
* Efficient lifts, never had to wait
* Good breakfast, many pastries/cakes, although the hot selection could be better

The negatives:
* Room was small, basically hardly no space on each side of a double bed
* TV didn't work (no channels found)
* Room had no view whatsoever (looking at a wall). Any rooms on the 3rd or 2nd levels will have no views, since blocked by another building. Given the average price of 320 EUR paid per night over 5 nights, quite disappointing
* Some noise from the street (lower floors) but also from the metro crossing the bridge. If you are sensitive to noise, bring some earplugs
* Small outside terrace, very small swimming pool, cold water so not really usable. Only a few deck chairs available. I was hoping to be able to use the outside space more
* No water fountains anywhere to refill a bottle

We stayed for 3 nights in April 2023 and this hotel did not disappoint. The hotel is in a fantastic location in easy walking distance to the main sites in the city centre, but far enough away to be quiet and relaxing. The views over the river and the bridge from the breakfast room are breathtaking and a highlight of the stay. The location of the hotel also offers the option of using the bridge top deck as well as the lower deck - perfect if you want to start your day in the centre of the city at the top of the hill and find yourself at river level on the way back - a lift up to your room definitely beats the uphill walk at the end of a busy day. Staff were fantastic and the room was clean and comfortable. I will definitely stay here again if I'm lucky enough to return to fabulous Porto.

Passers by wish they had chosen to stay here. The setting is breathtaking, the location is perfect and the facilities leave nothing to be desired. I would 100% recommend staying here. The only point to improve from our stay was that our hot breakfast was slightly cold on the morning that we ate in the hotel.

Arrange Taxi Welcome Pickups directly online. Metro from airport line E towards Estádio dos Dragões Trindade and change line D towards Santo Ovídio and stop at Jardim do Morro. walk about 4 minutes.
