Quite big hotel in the heart of Luso, just by the thermal station,. Well kept inside, less on the outside. Clean rooms, and quite spacious. Breakfast : standard, nothing special. Friendly staff. Great , large semi olympic pool. Location: right in the middle of the town, but some 25 kms from Coimbra.

The hotel was built between the wars to impress overseas visitors to the spa town of Luso. Its most impressive facility is the large swimming pool. The bedrooms and dining rooms are quite acceptable, overall.

Apparently built in 1958, was probably very grand then, but the stained sign outside and rather jaded appearance certainly shows its age. We were greeted with a rather brusque reception , and note of apology for the lack of hot water- although my room on the 5th floor had plenty of piping hot water for a shower! Good evening meal...

We visit every year and never have any complaints. We love the outdoor 1920s swimming pool. It is so big you always have plenty of room to swim. This year quite enjoyed the aqua aerobics. Aqua Zumba was quite stupid. Breakfast could be improved but is fairly normal for Portuguese hotels. Always very clean. There are spa facilities. Best to...

Located in an amazing quiet village this hotel offers an amazing experience. Very clean room, nice bed and bathroom. The thing I enjoyed most was the Olympic sized pool with lots of areas to sunbathing. It's amazing if you have kids... The breakfast is OK. The staff is always nice and helpful.

This stylish hotel is in an elegant and pretty little spa town within walking distance of lovely woodlands with a dozen or so bars and restaurants on the doorstep. It has an Olympic-size outdoor pool plus heated indoor. The staff are brilliantly friendly and genuinely helpful; the services are all of the highest standard

The hotel's Olympic sized swimming hotel is stunning and there's an indoor pool as well for those who find swimming outdoors too refreshing. The rest of the hotel is mostly splendid but it lets itself down in a number of areas so it is only pretty fab rather than absolutely fabulous. The good points - we had a decent sized...

My husband and I visited this nice historical hotel for a one night stay traveling from the Algarve to the Douro Valley. I wish we could have stayed longer. The room was newly renovated with the largest bathroom and shower we have ever seen on our travels in Europe. All very clean and tasteful. All staff members from the front...

We decided to stop in Luso in order to take a break during our trip in Portugal and enjoy the Malo Clinic Termas, which is connected to the hotel through a private tunnel. We booked a package with included a superior room and spa access. Our room was huge, quiet and clean with a big bathroom When we checked-in, we...
