We stayed at the Hotel da Vila for 1 week in June. It's a great small boutique hotel. Very simply designed and furnished. More than enough for what we needed. all rooms look out to the sea. The wifi is great actually, we managed to stream videos, which is a good sign! Breakfast was great. Continental, but with hot eggs,...

We booked this hotel due to the reviews on tripadvisor and we were so pleased it was just as wonderful as we hoped . It was our first trip to Madeira and Ponta Do Sol was the perfect place for us to stay. Small quiet inlet with some restaurants for dinner so there was no need to drive anywhere after...

The rooms are simply decorated in white with natural wood accesories and touches - the result is contemporary and comforatble. The...

Hotel da Vila is a lovely peaceful hotel in a pretty village/small town. The rooms are simple and modern with a sea view (yes, there is a road between the hotel and beach but it wasn't busy). The staff were generally friendly particularly the young guys serving dinner & behind the bar. Breakfasts were great, lovely variety of fresh fruit...

First of all: Great hotel, nice location and rooms in a puristic warm design, with a small balcony, sea & beach view and the greatest "noise" you can hear 24/7: breaking of waves! With no doubt it's a very good house, with excellent house keeping, good wifi but a really weird international breakfast. Brown bread, baked beans, sausages, mixed with...
