Let’s make it clear: this is not a 4 star hotel! This is just a party venue with a public pool where the hotel is just a side hustle. Rooms are clean and staff is nice, but everything is so basic and dated. With screaming local kids at the pool, late wedding and birthday parties with music and fireworks until late in the evening, swimming instructors with whistles, this place is not something where one can get propper R&R. No ammenities in the room, very scarce breakfast and constant flow of the people from outside passing trough would make this place 2 star hotel at the most. Also, it is important to remember that if two men book a room together, give them what they booked and do not presume that they want a room with two sepperate beds! Unfortunately this place was bit of a dissappointment. I guess the place had it’s glory days in late 70’s, but it just didn’t cought up with the time.

I have been staying at country club hotel for one week with my family. The hotel facilities are a bit average for an hotel having a 4 star rating, some renovation is needed bur all hotel common facilities are kept very clean and in good order, you always see people from the staff taking care of the reception, bar, swimming pool, parking places and garden and this makes you feel very good. The room too is not very special but there are good and comfortable mattresses and a big enough bathroom with a good water flow in the shower. But again the room and bathroom are kept extremely clean. The restaurant is offering good option from the local food and the breakfast is very complete, sweet and salty. The swimming pool is big and offers space for all guests plus external guests. But what makes the real difference is the staff at every level, at the reception, in the restaurant, in the swimming pool, t Hey are all extremely kind, professional and show genuine interest in making their guests happy, and this is a great feeling. We will definitely come back if we come back to Tuscany. Last but not least: great value for money!

We received a fantastic, professional and first class service at this hotel. Most of the staff speaks excellent English and is all the time prepared to go an extra mile. Internet is so good that you can watch Netflix or your kids game easy on their Nintendos. Our triple bed room was new refurbished, had a brand new ac ( quite and smellfree) and the rooms were spotless clean. The swimming pool has the best lifeguard team and cute little buffet serving aperol spritz and delicious salads. The restaurant and waiters are amazing and very attentive especially Mateo and Ardita. Just be polite to all as their hard work makes this hotel shine. Yes it is a bit dated but I have a feel they work on the refurbishment and I don’t mind as long as everything is very clean and the service is 4 stars! Good luck for the staff for this season and thank you again for having us.

This hotel has a nice location but the facilities provided are very poor. Wi-Fi was intermittent, air conditioning wasn't working at all and room windows were locked and hence quite suffocating inside the room. But they do serve nice Italian food and staff in the restaurant is very co-operative

The room sizes are good, but are very old, and honestly i felt scared. the corridors needs a little bit more lighting. they are dark most of the time in evening. Outdoor space is very nice. The bathroom definitely needs anti-skid tiles, with water ,,it was a recipe for sliding in there. apart from that very nice .

FirstIy, must say the staff were very friendly and the room clean. The room and shower are old fashion and need updating. Pictures tell the story. The restuarant attached to the hotel served a good breakfast and evening meals. November is not the best month to visit. Room had air conditioning, fridge and a small tv. Strange there is a UK flag outside but no English TV, like Sky or BBC News. Plenty of parking and I guess the swimming pools will be busy in season.

Quite huge complex, reminds me of my grandparents house. The interior is a more like the sixties. The rooms were simple, but clean and decent size. On of the most positive aspects was the staff. Very friendly and helping, both at check in/out and at the breakfast. The latter was a bit limited, but we were satisfied. The kids enjoyed the large pool and there is also a small pool and a diving tower. About a 20 min drive from Lucca, this hotel is an inexpensive option if you want a nights stay.

Its almost feels like in the movie 'The shining' as you first enter the corridor and the room. Room: Decent room with a boring view. Clean but the shower place is extremely small for a spacious bathroom. But thats not really a problem. Breakfast: Very basic self service breakfast. Not much of choices for a big hotel like this. Swimming pool: looks as if its one of the attraction in the area. Non-hotel residence are also allowed. Can be crowded. Its best to go for a swim early in the morning. Great for those with families. If you're looking for something glamorous, this is not the place.
