Lovely hotel with stunning sea views. Two excellent golf courses. Great food. Well equipped spa with accomplished masseuses and beauticians. What sets this hotel apart is the quality of the service at all levels. Truly exceptional.
Fantastic experience. Managed to practice several sports: tennis, golf, swimming, gym and running. Great golf teacher, Giacomo. Food is healthy and simply good. Very Italian. A lot of nature. Good English spoken. Highly recommend. Thanks
We travelled as a family of 4 (with 2 daughters 6 and 8) for 6 days. Its a great hotel that is probably exceptional in peak summer months. Many things are really first class: - The landscape, completely pristine, hills, golf, sea - The kids club, probably one of the 2 best we ever saw, huge, many creative activities - The view from the fish restaurant - The bicycles everywhere and the eerie feeling of quietness Staff, spa and food are all very good, there are only 2 striking things that could/should be improved for a hotel of such standard - The food choice: The choice for lunch and dinner is literally between the very nice fish restaurant (amare - to which we ended up going 5 of the 6 nights), a snack bar next to the swimming pool, and a mini pizzeria (with...5 different pizzas) next to the golf club. Its way too limited. Other restaurants are on the resort but were all closed (and we were in April/May, not in Feb). - The swimming pool: Is huge, gorgeous...but not heated, so as it is a very windy location it means that literally no one is swimming all day. Its a shame. Overall we loved it despite these minor flaws.…
Once again we enjoyed the unique Italian hospitality at the Verdura. The resort is such an increadible place for all those that like to relax and play tennis and/or golf. It becomes even more personal, when you recognise the same people at the reception, restaurant, pool and bar. We are so thankful to all those happy faces that made our stay once again so special. Mille grazie a Flavia, Deborah, Cristian, Giampaolo, and the entire team around Giacomo Battafarno. Looking forward to seeing you all soon.
Excellent service, luxurious accommodations and peaceful atmosphere. Personal attention. In large resort is a hard thing to accomplish and this resort hits the mark. This is our first stay at a Rocco Forte hotel and we hope it is not our last.
