Susanne and Pieter have done an incredible job in renovating and combining this old historical building with all the luxury of modern days . The easy going way of the hosts is in perfect harmony with the rolling hills surrounding the premises . Relaxing and forgetting the rest of the world becomes so instantly and easy here. The rooms are...

This review may be a little late, in the case that it wasn't received in June*. Which is when my wife and I had the grand fortune to stay at Borgo BelFiore. All I can say is this..... this place and these people, and the entire area, is simply sublime. Firstly, Pieter and Susanne are simply excellent people. I can...

Suzanne and Pieter are really a lovely couple. They do all they can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The apartment is very comfortable and beautiful, even in the smallest details. Pieter explain me the history of the Borgo, the history of renovation (they found old fresco while renovating!) As I was travelling alone, I had the chance...

I visited Borgo Belfiore as a single in April. The ticket from Dusseldorf (Weeze) to Ancona was very cheap, and I was picked up from the airport. It was relatively quiet but there were also other guests at the Borgio that appreciated some company too. I got a very warm welcome from Susanne and Pieter, who showed me around their...

Beginning of June (2011) we spent one week at Borgo Belfiore. The hospitality given by Pieter and Susanne was great. Much appreciate it. The area was typically old fashion Italian how you can expect. We loved the food and the hospitality of the restaurants in the neighbourhood (especially the one in Nidastore). The rooms are very nice renovated although ours...
