It was recommended to stay in Levanto to avoid the crowded five hill top towns. Levanto is a real charmer..one of the cleanest towns in Italy I have ever traveled to. Great Beach, restaurants and easy access to ferry and train. Hotel Nazionale was a good choice although rooms were a bit small and breakfast was average. But we appreciated... More

The hotel is conveniently located close to the beach, several restaurants, bars, supermarkets and the train station (10 min walk). The car can be parked in a private parking garage for which a fee needs to be paid. There is no restaurant service, only a plain simple but good breakfast is served with a choice for every one. The personell... More

Nice, centrally located hotel in Levanto. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were served a lovely breakfast on the patio. The room however was quite small and faced the street which was very noisy on a Saturday night and went well into the morning. Having stayed in another hotel in Levanto the previous night I would say these... More

A really well located hotel a short stroll down the hill from the train station. The hotel is really well located near great restaurants, bars and shops. Our rooms were booked Kate and were on the top floor of the building with access to a rooftop alfresco area and were a good size although bathrooms are very small and dated.... More

The room was large, with a good sized bathroom. If street/nearby cafe noise would bother you ask for room at back. Breakfast was same as most 3 star but certainly good enough in a lovely room and setting. If you play the piano one is near the foyer.

Lovely hotel in a traditional Italian town (Levanto). Smallish hotel about 30 bedrooms but very close (without the noise) to the main street of shops and restaurants and about a 7 minute walk to the beach. The hotel breakfasts were served either inside or outside in the garden terrace, which we chose every day. Breakfast consisted of cheese, ham, toast... More

Room (for 3) was spacious, clean and comfy.Breakfast was good and well stocked! The hotel is in the centre of Levanto near restaurants, beach is 5 minutes walk, train station is... More

We booked at the Hotel Nazionale in Levanto, but took one of their apartments, located about 150 metres from the hotel - we therefore had no hotel facilities. The apartment(s) is located about 150 metres from the beach, also near many shops, restaurants etc. The apartment is 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom and kitchen/sitting. The kitchen is fully equipped save did... More

We only stayed on night and found it a great place to stay. Reception was very helpful and polite. The elevator worked well as did the room AC. Our room was over street and average in size and was very clean but we were not living in it for a week, just to sleep. Bed was comfortable and has good... More

We stayed two nights, had a very enjoyable visit, breakfast excellent, rooms very clean and well equipped. Staff very helpful, parking available at 15 euros per day - well worth it. Would definitely return.
