My girlfriend and I stayed here for 5 nights in the summer and absolutely loved it. The room was clean and spacious. The reception and bar staff were also very helpful, although it was sometimes hard to communicate fully in English but this is to be expected in any foreign country. The marina was only a 10 minute walk from...

We stayed for a week had had the most fantastic time. The food was exceptionally good and being half board was perfect for us. There were lots of shops and restaurants and bars all walkable and while it's true they are mainly set up for Italian and German guests we felt very welcome and with a little effort on our...

This is a unique hotel, its like staying in a Miss Marple film set, we loved it, the only issue was people smoking everywhere, but I guess that's cultural. The staff were very friendly and helpful, changing rooms and fixing the hair dryer was done quickly and efficiently. It is well located up a quiet back street just off a...

The hotel is just a few step away from the walking zone and central of Ischia Porto. The garden is green and you get a feeling being in a park. The Thermal Pool is big and enough couches, also on a Terrace above the pool. Very friendly staff and a lot of them speaking english and german. You can enjoy the...

Not enough information about getting from Naples to the Island. We decided to get our ferry tickets on arrival at the port, I asked for tickets to Ischia, eventually got on the ferry that the ticket time showed and arrived at the island port. I had printed a map that showed the Hotel was 0.5 mile from the port an...

It is not bad hotel with excellent location and amazing view from the restaurante. But there is big gap betweants qualities of the rooms (for the same price). If you are not lucky you'll get a room with poor air condition , broken old furniture , shut windows, dark rooms and ants running everywhere. (The rooms so called "CHALET") No...

A great location in Ischia Porto with beautiful gardens and a great rooftop dining area. We didn't have dinner there but loved the breakfasts - fresh croissants and cappuccinos 😊. Our room (#18) wasn't great, it was on the rear side of the building, tiny patio and the bathroom and furnishings weren't great. It had two firm single beds, (I...

We had a great stay in Ischia at the Villarosa. It is as other reviewers have said, very traditional ... but what is wrong with that? The location is perfect for a visit to this beautiful island. We found the staff very friendly and had no problems being understood whatsoever.... We would not expect everyone to speak perfect English anyway.......

If you like staying in a Hotel that has been frozen in time, if you like a bed that is too firm to sleep on, if you like a room with air conditioning that is not fit for purpose, if you like eating food that will result in food poisoning and if you like being overcharged at the end of...

The location was very good, but the staff were aloof and unhelpful. I didn't encounter any staff who spoke English or was able to even make a recommendation for visits, dinners, etc... Breakfast was ok, the room very average. The pool was very small, but still nice although ut didn't get much sun. Other than being well located and having...
